Prompt, brought young kids with them, little communication, left the concrete very rough.

Simeon helped me work through different city requirements, he helped me with what HOA needed, he was above and beyond the service. He would text me and help me get things done and the service was cheaper than what I had expected. He was very timely, responsive and the service was quick.

They were most excellent from start to end. They were there when they said they would be there and they did exactly what they said they were going to do. I couldn't be more pleased.

No, No, No!! Avoid these folks from Holy Hills and Hollywood to do any and all cement driveways and walkways in the Charleston Tri-County area if you expect excellence. I made over an $8,000.00 mistake by paying James for the work Ray, Randall, and several others did at my residence in Summerville. Between Siemeon Young and James they took advantage of me paying in cash. They lied saying the cash was $200.00 short which was counted by a computer and teller at SCFCU. Additionally, Simeon said this job was 17 cubic yards of cement when it was only 10 cubic yards. Thomas Woodrum from another cement company inspected their work and was shocked to see such poor workmanship. Several crew members returned 10 days after I already paid $7500.00 in cash plus over $300.00 in food, drinks, cigs to breakup 9'x12' of a disaster they left behind. As a good faith of generosity for their return and hard work for two additional days, I gave James, Ray and a worker an additional $500.00 in cash (tip, gratuity, bonus) plus purchased more ice and drinks to end this job on a positive note. No, I would NOT hire them again. My driveway has to many humps, pits, rough areas, missing expansion joint and crooked sides than what I expect from a reputable cement crew. Job was not performed up to code and a permit was not pulled. I never received anything in writing including a final invoice after four requests. Now, you have been warned.

We do not recommend them, and will not do business with them again. My wife and I hired this company to replace part of our driveway. The job they did was what one would expect but the customer service was sub-par. The communication was poor and instead of ever being told when they would be there they would just show up unannounced. They never notified us whenever they were arriving and in one instance my car was still parked in the part of our driveway that was not being replaced. Instead of waiting they drove their cement truck on our lawn and there are divots where they drove through. If you choose to ignore this review and hire them be forewarned: request a formal write-up of your contract and sketches of the job that is to be done, since they failed to follow up on what was expected and we neglected to have a questioning attitude, expecting that their and ;professional expertise and would understand what we wanted.
