I had a complex issue with my BMW 335i convertible. It had a bad injector and the BMW dealer suggested replacing all the injectors (current models are incompatible with the older versions in my car) at a cost of over $2,800. I mentioned this to a friend and he suggested that I talk to the guy who services his Porsches, Karl Troy at European Road and Racing. I made an appointment and sat down with Karl, he listened carefully and said that he would do some research on the issue. After consulting with his BMW contacts, he proposed replacing the injectors in a single bank of the engine at a cost of $1,300. I dropped the car off on Monday morning and it was fixed by the next morning My car is running great, just like new, I am completely satisfied! The shop at European Road and Racing is clean and modern and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Karl is the best communicator that I have ever met in this industry, obviously an expert in his field and a truly nice guy. I would never take my two BMWs anywhere else.

My BMW transmission (pistons and all) were out of service, as most do at about 80k miles. After having my car towed in and the issue determined, Karl himself called me to explain the details of the issue, the cost and the best action. Sadly I soon traded my car but Karl made sure it was running well for the next 15-20k miles (which would've been when I'd have another problem - I'd seen it with my past BMW & my friends' BMW). The honesty and professionalism of the entire team is what makes a customer happy. I even saw Karl at a retail store months later and he remembered me(rather my car ?), great guy!!!

Anyone who owes a diesel car will atest to how hard it is to find a good mechanic. These cars are very fragile. After numerous inquiries from colleges and friends European Road and racing was the auto mechanic that everyone recommended. The whole team was great. Had full 200,000 mile service with water pump and timing belt. Price was very resonable at $1700. They treated me like I had a BMW/mercedes even though it was an outdated jetta. You will see tons of BMWs, lamburginis etc on their lot. There is no European car that they cannot fix. Highly recommend to anyone who owes a diesel european car!

European Road and Racing are technically very competent. They take the time to explain the problem and explain your options and take the time to go research parts and give you your options.

They are doing a nice job, their prices are very reasonable and they have a good reputation. We haven't picked up the car yet but they are in communication with us. They work on really, really expensive cars but yet they are still willing to work on our very humble Fiat. They are rally nice guys. We had the car towed to them then they said they would give us an estimate then apply the cost toward the repair cost which is fair. They took a little while for the estimate to be done, but it seems once they get the estimate in then they are pretty responsive. I'm not complaining. They had many luxury European cars, high end and expensive and then you have our little car in there, but I truly believe they will do a very good job. I think they will take just as much care on my cheap Fiat as they will their expensive cars. In the end that's what it's all about.

Carl Troy, the owner, treats my cars and my money like they are his own. He takes great pride in his profession and completely stands behind his work.
