Roofer took off shingles to identify area needing attention. He replaced the plywood, tar paper and shingles at the site needing repair. He did a great job.

I rate them very high. I have attempted to use them again. When something hit the roof of our workshop, a freestanding workshop, and put a large hole in it. However, when we first attempted to reach them, we were told that because they were so overwhelmed with construction contracts; they were not able at that time to do any repairs. When we made a makeshift patch, and called them....there was a post saying they were now available, they were to come over and inspect the damage and give us an estimate. They never showed up. My husband contacted them a second time. It had to be postponed because that day it was pouring rain and they never came back or contacted us.

Very quick turnaround and very easy to work with. I am forced to question quality of job only because as I sell home 3 of 3 inspectors have criticized back of roof for not having kick out flashing and being the cause of water dripping on siding and causing wood rot.

Awful . Call him back many times . Never showed up. Took me a while to get them to come . Finally they did . Work in roof. . We still are getting water , called repeatedly, said he will come . He still has not showed up .this matter needs attention as soon as possible. Thanks for your support.

First off, it was over 2 weeks before I ever heard anything from anyone other than the emails you get from Angie's list right after you agree to the deal. I had to call the roofer myself, and when I caught up to him, he claimed he had not been contacted by Angie's List. He was willing to help me though. I called Angie's List back and at first their customer service representative put it all on me to get this straight with the roofer. (After all, A.L. already had my money). Finally, the agent agreed to fill out an eCommerce report and I was contacted by Chrissy Heeger of A. L. This was a much better experience as she was a great help and called the roofer to help me get set up, etc. As far as the work, the roofer (Mr. Dan Rogers) was great! I will use him again. He was hard to get to the house and seemed busy, so we had to reschedule a few times. When he finally got here they did a good job. My roof was too steep for them to do some of the other things specified in the deal, and I knew this was a possibility. I was glad to get the one spot repaired, and appreciated Mr. Rogers' advice on my roof condition, etc.

I called Dan Rogers On Friday. He called me back that day and said he would go out there and look at it. He called me Saturday morning after he had looked at it and said that it would be 150 to re-attach it. I gave him the go ahead and on Tues. morning he re-attached it. It looks great and am very happy with how quickly and efficiently he completed it. I have a few houses so work a lot with the repairs. it is so nice to have the guys who do this work, call when they say they are going to call and do the repair when they say they are going to do the repair. thanks so much Dan.

Buyer Beware
I purchased the $200.00 ?Roof Maintenance Package? with Dan
Rogers Roofing through Angie?s List on February 16, 2016. After waiting a couple of days and hearing
nothing, I called Dan Rogers directly.
He told me he must have missed my order somehow but he could come out
that afternoon, February 18.
Dan showed up with a worker as planned, and while Dan and I
spoke, his worker took a rather flimsy ladder off the truck and first tried to
extend it to the roof on the two story part of the house. The ladder was not big enough so he moved it
to the one story part of the house. The
ladder had no ?stand-off? so the worker had to place the ladder against the fascia
board in order not to damage the shingles ? a dangerous way to get up on the
roof. Dan informed me that the two story
roof was too high and the ?inspection? would have to be limited to the one
story part of the house. He explained
that there wasn?t much up on the higher roofer anyway (not true since there are
several vents on the back side of the roof.)
The worker ?ran? (literally) around the lower roof with a
tube of roof patch material. While he
was doing this I pointed out to Dan a broken shingle (small piece) that I
thought needed to be replaced and an area where there was staining on the side
of the house where it appeared that water seemed to be dripping from under the siding when it rained
hard. Had I not pointed them out, the
roof ?inspection? as Dan called it or ?Roof Maintenance? as Angie?s List called
it would have missed them. Dan felt a piece of flashing needed to be inserted where two roof lines come together over the stained area. (Flashing is very inexpensive - less than $9.00 for about 4 times what was needed here)
Also immediately Dan said ?oh, that?s going to be extra.? I asked if it would be more than the $200 I
had already paid (and remember, only half the roof was being inspected) and he
said, ?yes, $300 extra.? The worker came
down from the roof in approximately 15 minutes, claimed that he had coated some
nail heads and a crack of some sort and put the ladder back on the truck.
No written report was provided.
A week later Dan wrote me a note asking if I wanted to
proceed with the ?repair.? I asked if
the price could be adjusted to $150 since he had only ?inspected? half the
roof. I have not heard back from Dan.
I have replaced entire roofs myself, performed roof maintenance on
several roofs, and know more than the average person about roof maintenance and
repair. Plain and simple, do not
purchase this ?Big Deal.? If you are having a problem with your roof have a professional
roofer come in and give you a free estimate.
This is the second time I have used an Angie?s List ?Big Deal,? and it is the last time.
Both times the deal was nothing more than a come on for more work while almost nothing
was done for the original cost of the "deal."

I called Dan on Monday Jan 11th about the Angie's List special I purchased. Dan said he would come out on Tuesday at 10:30 and he was right on time. I told him what I needed and showed him where the roof was leaking. He had his co-worker inspect the roof and he gave me an estimate of the work over what I had paid for the Angie's List special. I agreed with his estimate. Dan called me the next say saying he wanted to come out on Thursday to do the work before Friday when it was forecast to rain. They were here promptly on Thursday and began work.
When it came to the leak on the back porch roof, Dan asked me to get up on the roof and see what the problem was. The original roof work was not done properly which caused a leak and rotted wood to cause the leak. Dan gave me options to repair the hole. We agreed on metal sheeting over the hole covered by a special plastic and asphalt sheeting. No additions to the estimate. They completed their work by the end of the day.
The next day it did rain. No leaks. I am very pleased with their work. I will ask Dan to come back to do an estimate for replacing my roof in a couple of years.

I called up Rogers Roofing because my wife and I notice leaking from the roof in 3 separate areas of the house. 6 months earlier we notice leaks and had it repaired or we thought we did until it started leaking again. So not wanting to deal with the first contractor, we called Dan. I called him about 10 in the morning from work and he promised to meet at my house after my work day. He was there waiting for me as promised, after seeing the damage in the house he was pretty sure it was the piping boot. He promised to be over the next morning to start and he was there. By the time I got home that afternoon he had completed the repairs and showed me the incorrect installation of the boot by the previous contractor. So I was well pleased with the work, the price and his promptness. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

Dan and his crew did a quick, professional and fantastic job of replacing shingles on roof. No complaints even after 4 months. Keep up the good work Dan and good luck this new year.
