Description of Work: They arranged for a day to come and give us an estimate. Then they cancelled giving as an excuse that we were in a location far from where we actually were. In fact we are probably not much more than 20 miles from the provider but they made it seem that we were 40 or 50 miles away.

 + -1 moreOwner is very responsive and easy to reach by both phone or email. Visited home more than once prior to estimating to investigate alternative solutions to installation issues. Provided and painted canopies needed around the outdoor fans to cover the existing outlet box (other companies required that I provide these items myself.) Crew who did the work was professional, polite, neat and timely. Owner called after to make sure all had gone well. But the most impressive thing about this company occurred after this work was complete and is unrelated to it. More than a month after the above described work, I had an unrelated issue with the electric service in my home. With no warning about half of the electric in my home suddenly went out, including dual HVAC units, during 95 degree plus heat and high humidity. I called David Burke (owner of Cypress) and he responded within minutes. He diagnosed the likely issue over the phone, and although he correctly surmised that this was an electric company issue, he sent his crew to my home to investigate. While I waited for the electric company to arrive, David's crew showed up and verified that the issue needed to be addressed by the utility. Despite the fact that this was not a repair they could do, they wanted to wait for the electric company to arrive. Only after waiting more than 20 minutes, and with me insisting that they did not have to stay, did they leave. Within the hour I got another call from David wanting to make sure that they electric company had arrived and that I was OK. All this was done with no promise or expectation of compensation to Cypress Electric. This is the only company I have used in this area that I can recommend without reservation. If you need electrical work, look no further than Cypress Electric.
Description of Work: Installed Outdoor fans and lights and interior fan controller; Snaked ethernet cables and repaired interior light fixtures.
