Description of Work: I had to have my muffler welded back on. My existing exhaust pipe had rusted through, and left my muffler dangling under the truck. Before going to the shop, I removed the cat back exhaust. At the shop, they told me they were not able to use my existing pipe and needed to run new pipe from the muffler over the axle and out the back of the truck. I didn't have time for that day, so I simply asked for a turn down put on the back of the muffler. I was expecting a price of approximately $50 for the service as that is what I have paid else where in the past. It ended up costing $125, which I felt was a little steep; however, I was in a bind and needed it repaired at that moment, which left me no time to shop around.

 + -1 moreAfter a web search for a company that could do custom truck exhaust systems, their name was the only one that popped up. They also offered a special on a Flowmaster DT40 muffler and 16 inch stainless steel tips. I called and arrived when recommended. They put my truck on the lift to make sure the special package would fit. I authorized the work. Franki said it would take about 3 hours. 3 hours and 4 minutes later my truck was done. All the exhaust pipes from the muffler back were new 2 1/2 inch, custom bent to ensure good exhaust flow and fit. During the install Franki found my truck on YouTube with the same muffler system installed and I was able to hear what it would most likely sound like. I am extremely pleased with their work. The mechanic took his time, measuring fitting, re-measuring before doing any bends. Couldn't be happier. After listening to my truck, my son wants the same package on his Grand Cherokee.
