Cardinal Home Inspections

It was great other than he couldn't go up on the roof so I had to pay extra for a roofer to come out and inspect my roof. I would have hired someone who could do the whole inspection.

They showed up promptly and provided a detailed report. They have an excellent interface for payment and retrieval of your inspection documents. On the two follow-up inspections we received a discount because they had been to the property before.

I called to schedule home inspection on Tuesday, had the appointment scheduled for Thursday the same week. Russell did a very thorough and comprehensive inspection on the house. He went over the details with me, showed me detailed pictures and explanations on the computer before he left. I had the complete report, along with pictures, the next day. He was fast, very efficient, thorough, punctual, friendly, and courteous. I am very glad I chose this company to work with and recommend them highly.

Inspection was great. Russel was very thorough and professional and was fine answering all of my questions as he performed the inspection. Inspection took 2.5-3 hours. The report he emailed us had photos of all of his concerns and was very easy to read. Payment and scheduling could be made online which was just so easy. I would absolutely work with him again.

when I first came across this company I saw they had a bad review, so I kept browsing. Something told me to go back and see what it said. Apparently, it was from a seller stating how the inspector found EVERY little thing wrong, which resulted in the buyer backing out. I absolutely ran with that review and said that this definitely is the company I want, because I knew they will do their best and be very honest. The inspector named Russell was AWESOME! He was early, patient and very knowledgeable. He took his time from start to finish and until this day... we made the right desicion using this company because they saved us from a BIG mess! Arrived early and got right to work. Robert is very through and takes the time to explain all of his findings.

We have used Cardinal for three prospective houses. All inspections included a report with details and pictures. Inspections cost based on size of house. First inspection was a house in Meggett, SC. Cardinal told us all the problems needed to be fixed including floor joists that need repaired and other things. Second house was in Huger, SC. House looked great. Six Thousand square feet, five bed rooms, huge kitchen, two stories, library, den, formal living room and other things. Cardinal found that the house was built on a double wide trailer, was missing a second air conditioner and other major structural problems. Third house in Ritter, SC winterized hot water heater elements were blown and a few other small problems.
We had made offers on all these houses. After the inspection, we found major problems with two houses. We got out of our offers because of these inspections. I estimate Cardinal saved us from making about $500,00.00 in mistakes and years of problems. Cardinal is a little more money, but you get what you pay for. If I need a home inspection done, I will call Cardinal first.

They were very informative and profesional. They did a thourgh inspection and answered all of the questions that we asked.

This is the 2nd time that I have used Cardinal. I was so impressed by their professionalism during the 1st home inspection that I did not hesitate to call them again.

Everything went smoothly, setting an appointment and paying was straightforward, Brad completed the inspection promptly, and sent a detailed PDF report online in two days.

Rodney and Robert arrived early and were ready to go as soon as the house was open. Rodney described in detail exactly what the inspection entailed and what we could expect when he was through. He and Robert examined the house (including the roof) thoroughly. After observing them work for a few minutes we decided not to accompany them and just let them do their jobs. We have no doubt that had we wanted to follow them they would have willingly explained each step. Once the inspection had been completed they each presented us with a slide show on their laptops, showing us their results. This included recommendations that differentiated between major and minor findings. The final report was available online within 24 hours.
We were very satisfied with the work performed and the overall level of service provided. Based on our experience we highly recommend Rodney and Robert at Cardinal Home Inspections.

I'm not very good at giving reviews but we would definately use him again as well as recommed him to anyone purchasing a home.

Rodney Whitehouse and his team at Cardinal Home Inspections are very professional and knowledgeable. We've recommended him to friends and family members that have all had the same outstanding experience with him. Rodney will take the time to explain his finding to you and is even available by phone later if you have questions. Because we had contractors come in and address several of his findings we called Rodney several times with additional questions, to make sure that we were addressing the right things in the right way and he was available and helpful everytime.
