I have a heating and air conditioning service, sales and installation company. There are usually 12-15 employees. I have the following certifications: NATE (national certification)-gas heating, heat pumps and AC. NCI - test and balance duct air flows to 25 tons, NCI - carbon monoxide & combustion analysis. I'm a member of ACCA and have been trained in all phases of residential design - load calculations, equipment selection, duct design and grille selection. There is a $79 service call and diagnostic fee. A firm cost for repairs will be given at that time. Since I have training in building science, I can look at the AC unit as part of the whole house. Many problems are not the AC itself; it's poor insulation, leaky building, poorly designed ducts or leaky ducts. I can test for all those problems.
