experience, we have had him work remotely on two laptops to correct an email
problem that others have failed to solve. He is truly great at what he does
either in person or remotely. We highly recommend PC Graphix to solve whatever
computer problems you may have.
I asked about taking data off the hard drive and we agreed on a set price. Because my computer had advanced security protection, it ended up taking him several hours to offload my hard-drive. He complains sometimes in a brash Yankee way, but he sticks to the price he quotes and the times he quotes. Also, he's quite friendly and professional. I was impressed that he did what it took to get the work done and didn't charge extra over the agreed on price.
During that on site service call, he arrived on time and connected the HP 5000 Printer, a very good printer but since it was so old, HP had hidden the print drivers deep in their website (I had tried to find them and had been unsuccessful). During the service call he observed why I was experiencing slow performance, insufficient RAM, portions of my hard drive had been compressed, memory sucking bloatware had accumulated over time, little used programs could be uninstalled, data files if deleted or removed to an external hard drive could free up many gigabytes of memory and spyware was evident. He also recommended I purchase Click Free, a backup utility. He started the decompression of my hard drive and said he would remote in to do more work when I said I was ready.
I removed some of the bloatware myself, transferred the data files to an external hard drive and ordered more RAM and called him in 2 days.
That Friday he remoted in and did what I had given up on (and apparently many like me around the world) to connect my Goldmine Contact Relationship Management software, the backbone of how I conduct my business, to gmail. This task was not easy, he tried many approaches, using the advice of others, and his own wits, but finally connectivity was achieved. I was above happiness. During this time he ran Malwarebytes and identified what he said was a record number of spyware files. My computer was running as I had never remembered it ever running in recent history.
Perseverance to solve even the most difficult problems, does what he says at the time he says, proactive curiosity to improve the customer experience with their technology, displayed technical skills, communicating at a level appropriate for his customer, friendliness and very reasonable pricing all describe Bill Phillips.
