AVOID New Life Enterprises like the plague. I lost more than $70,000. while doing a favor to the New Life Enterprises (NLE) owner, Mario Roker. That includes $6500. that he stole from me personally. I bought a house so that NLE could remodel it and profit share at the time of sale. Mario directed remodeling work at the house. He also acted as a real estate "expert", but even the real estate agent he brought into the deal warned me that the house would not sell for anywhere near what Mario was pushing. My investment went upside down as NLE demanded more and more workscope. Mario blew through the budget (spent roughly $150,000 vs. Mario's estimate of $65,000) while promising me that I would not lose money. The work was sloppy and I had to make major concessions to sell the house before the big real estate bust. Mario kept saying that the real estate market was getting better in the 2006-2008 time frame when I had reservations about this. Mario is a make-believe expert in many things. Mario has chosen personal bankruptcy, IRS problems, and hurt investors for his lifestyle. NLE should not be advertising and Mario should not be seeking new investors given his track record with previous investors. Failed businesses he pushed in the past include "Konky Joe's" food shack, "Candle Works", and "Candlenuts", all LLC's in Augusta, GA. Sheila stiffed several suppliers of candle products/services for tens of thousands of dollars. Fed EX won a $52,600. judgement against Candlenuts in Richmond County Superior Court for unpaid services. The part that hurts me most is that Mario and Sheila pretend to be Christians as part of their scams, hence the name of the NLE business. I warn you not to be fooled - Mario and Sheila know nothing about the Christian lifestyle, ethics, or repentence. My repeated requests and warnings to them have not led to anything positive. They chose not to answer my final letter listing specific damages. Mario is big on both making and breaking promises - watch out.
