MOUNTAINEER PEST SERVICES

f you’re using Mountaineer Pest Services, I was strongly urge you to find another provider. They gladly charge $59/mo for service, but when I called to check, because I couldn’t remember seeing a notice of a visit for a couple months, the receptionist acknowledged that they hadn’t been out since Jan 30th, which was the first time since Helene at the end of last September. I left multiple messages for several days for the owner, Michael Pace, with no response. I found his cell phone in an online listing and he pretty much told me to “go f—- myself” and that he didn’t care or have any reason to refund for not providing any service. I hate blasting small businesses, but this is basically theft at this point and the owner’s response is to pretty much laugh in my face. If you are using them, please call and check to make sure you’re actually getting the service you’re paying for, but I would suggest moving along to someone who actually wants to do the work they’re being paid to do.

I used Mountaineer Pest control for 6 months and on my last visit it was written on my receipt that that only one time charge in my account . On today $85 was taken from my account without my permission. When I called to see why seeing that I have to contact them my next visit , I was told that it was taken because I did not call to make my next appointment. Words were exchanged with Elaine or Elisa. I don't not authorize you guys to charge or take money from my account. This is completely illegal. RIGHT AFTER SERVICE IS RECEIVED ONLY ONE TIME I DID AUTHORIZE. IF I AM NOT RECEIVED A SERVICE YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO TAKE MY MONEY. OUT OF THE LAW. GA BUSINESS BUREAU WILL BE INFORMED . MONEY PAID NO SERVICES RENDERED AT THIS TIME

I used Mountanier Pest control for 12 months and on my last visit it was written on my receipt that that visit was my last. On today $65 was taken from my account without my permission. When I called to see why seeing that last month ended my 12 month contract, I was told that it was taken because I did not call to make my next appointment. Words were exchanged with Elaine and she was very nonchalant and down right rude in trying to help me rectify the situation. I told her I work in direct contact with Covid patients daily, I am unable to return all phone calls after a 12 hour shift. I told her taking the $65 from my account literally was taking food from kids (4) mouths and her exact response was “ so when do you want to make your next appointment?” I asked to speak with the manager and she too said she could not offer any explanation as to why money was taken from an account that was no longer valid. Elaine hung up in my face twice and simply refused to even try and help. The customer service is **** poor and completely unacceptable to any paying customer. We would use their services again simply because of the lack of knowledge, Elaine and her supervisor.

Horrible. We overpaid into our account by mistake, I called 9 times before someone called me back. They told me they couldn't refund my money which is in excess of $1000 because of a clause in the contract. I waited 4 days before finally getting a copy of my contract. The contract does not say they are entitled to not return the money., When I spoke with the owner, Michael Pace, he told me he was cancelling my contract and did not provide a reason, he also said the reason for nor returning my money its because he is not a bank. He was bothered by the fact I complained. They also want to keep the money I already paid. PLEASE DO NOT do business with this company, you will regret it. Its sad to think that the owner, Michael Pace, ran for city council in North Augusta last year. If he treats customers, refuses to provide services therefore stealing money from them, imagine what he could do in office.

I have used the services of Mountaineer for several years. They are punctual, affordable and thorough. Gene is our technician and he always does a fine job!

This is the most unprofessional business I have ever encountered. EVER. The people in the office are rude, the​ owner is even worse. Because I called to discuss changes I needed to make work my services, the owner sent someone the next day to remove my termite stations even though I had a contract and had paid in full. They are unbelievable! Do business with literally anyone else! I even filed a BBB complaint and they are trying to send my account to collections for not renewing.

WE WERE SET UP FOR MONTHLY TREATMENT AND THEY NEVER CAME UNLESS WE CALL, THEN WE STOP CALLING SO THEY SKIPPED A MONTH, THEN THEY JUST POPPED UP A MONTH LATER TO TREAT MY BUSINESS SO I TOLD THEM I DON'T WANT THERE SERVICE ANYMORE. WE USE THEM FOR 6 MONTHS AND THE SERVICE SUCKS AND THE TREATMENTS DIDN'T SEEM TO BE WORKING.

Excellent. Highly recommend this company.

I like everything about them.  I haven’t had any problem with them.  We have been using them for about three years now.  They need to schedule personally instead of through the reminder cards.  They do termites as well, but I use them for bugs.  They are cheaper than other pest control companies.  If I call them with any problem, they would come out immediately.  Their customer service is nice.

They were prompt, courteous, and the pricing was competitive. On the first visit I was amazed that they took long handled brushes and brushed away the cobwebs in my garage. They do most of the pest control outside your home which I appreciated.

The overall experience with Mountaineer Pest was great.

It was a good experience. They were effective and friendly. They were very cost-effective.
