I've had work done several times by this company: including a bunch of faucet replacements last summer, and very recently an unexpected water heater replacement--on a Sunday, yet. Their pricing has always been completely reasonable and fair, and the work always completed efficiently and carefully. The recent water heater replacement was difficult and messy due to the condition the heater was in--and the two technicians working with it remained calm, cheerful and courteous throughout--even with my annoying little dog yapping in the background. They installed a new heater and drip-pan, corrected the horrendous drip-pan installation that had been done long ago by another company, sealed spaces that little critters could crawl through, and finished with a meticulous clean-up job. I keep going back to this company because I trust the work they do, and recommend them without any reservation.

The guys who came out were here and instated the part. It took them a few hours to do. Three years later, it failed all together. We tried to call them several times but they would not return our calls. We finally called another plumber out and they said this part should have never been used in the first place. They said they hadn't seen it in 10 or 15 years and indicated that it was an old part. We will not use Affordable Plumbing again.

They were prompt and came equipped with the right tools to reach way down into a drain to get it unclogged. My husband and I were not able to get this taken care of on our own. They were really nice people and I would highly recommend them.

Everything went great and he even took off some of the pipes that the previous company had put on saying it was needed to bring it up to code. If I have any other plumbing needs I will be calling Affordable plumbing.

We noticed a significant loss in pressure late in the evening. We went outside to discover water pouring from the meter housing into the street. We called the county emergency line. They came out and turned off the water, and told us we would have to get a plumber as the leak was and quot;customer sideand quot; of the water meter. I called Affordable Plumbing and left as message. I had a call back within 15 minutes, with an offer to come out that night (no additional charge for after hours calls). I chose to have them come out first thing in the morning. Received a call just after 9:00 am that they were on their way. Brandon came out and did an excellent job repairing the leak. He also installed a pressure regulator at my request. He did an excellent job of explaining what he would do, the materials he would use, and why the coupling failed in the first place. (substandard T installed many years ago by sprinkler system crew). He also gave me a rough estimate on some further work I need to have done inside.
I would definitely call them again.

I called and the plumber came out when they said he would. He checked with me for discounts, military, phonebook ad, etc. I liked that he was looking to save me money. He looked at the valve and also looked under the house for leaks. He repaired the valve lickety split. He then explained that he found a leak, but also explained that he couldn't fix it because I needed to repair floor damage first. I am happy with the speed, service, and price.

Everything went well until the weekend when a leak was spotted outside at new turnoff valve. We called and they came right away to fix it.

I could smell the odor of gas coming from the fire place where we have gas logs. I looked up plumbers on Angie's list and call Affordable plumbing as this company had good reviews. I was told someone could come out that day between 1 and 3 PM.
James called around 11:30 and said he was in the area could he come out now and we told him yes, this is a good time.
He checked the fire place and couldn't find a leak although you could smell gas. He went under the house and found the union connection leaking and a bend in the gas line. He recommended the line be replaced with a flexible line which he did. This is an older home and the gas logs were probably put in by the previous owner using copper tubing and the gas turn on/off is in the firebox. James suggested this service be changed out in the future using different type of gas line and a on/off switch outside the fireplace. We'll do that in the future and since we rarely use the fireplace (Christmas day) so we opted to have him cap off the gas line.
While he was under the house we asked him to looking under the guest bathroom to see if there was a leak as we could detect a moldy smell sometimes in this bathroom. He found 2 small leaks under the toilet and bath tub where they connect to the drain pipes. Since we are going to have the bathroom renovated in the near future he suggested we wait as the leak was minor.
James was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He explained the problems in an easy manner.
The work is guaranteed for 90 days and the company accepts the major credit cards and checks.
We will definitely call this company again for our future plumbing needs.

Their service was great. They charged too much. I thought that they were very professional and very knowledgeable. They were timely which is very hard to get out of anybody anymore. They showed up when they said they were going to which is unusual. They were very competitive price wise and in fact mare than most of the other plumbers.

You could not ask for better service from start to finish.
