ROLLINS TILE & CARPET

We originally contracted with Rollins to do the entire job from repairs and sanding through final polyurethane finishing; however our own renovation schedule kept them from starting on the proposed date. Then we had trouble getting on Rollins' schedule for another few weeks.  And then their bid on a large state university job was accepted and they were unable to schedule our job for a couple of months. We were going to get our deposit check back and find someone else, but a day unexpectedly came open during the first week of their work on the university site, so Tammy sent a two-man sanding crew to our house to do all the sanding (three oak floors and three pine ones) with the agreement that my husband and I would do the actual finishing.  They helped me complete the replacement of some damaged boards and then did an excellent, careful job with sanding and prepping our floors--and advised us on how to apply the finish and do the final sanding and buffing with an orbital sander we rented from Home Depot.  We are very pleased with the results. We ended up paying Rollins only the $ 1,040 deposit plus an additional charge of $240.  The rental and materials for our finishing work were another $400 at Home Depot.
I was very impressed with Tammy's professionalism and her practical knowledge of wood flooring repairs and treatments. She was a pleasure to work with.  Her sanding crew members were careful to avoid damaging the old floors and were thoughtful and conscientious in their clean-up.  A good experience altogether!
