Vet techs were great with the dogs, and the Veterinarian was professional and very thorough.

They always took care of my dog. They handled the cremation for me. I took all my dogs here in the past. I find them quite capable, and compassionate. I had used them for about 30 years.

Excellent. He was well cared for and the Dr followed up with a call to discuss the results of his blood test. I would highly recommend Ark Animal Hospital.

First of all the place is so crowded, dark, and filthy.  The place really stinks.  I had a long wait to get in with a vet and they performed an exam and gave my dog his shots. They told me that they would give my the results of the blood work in 3 days.  I called several times in order to get the results.  I finally had to go in to get someone to talk to me.  I gave my dog the prescribed medication for his liver and brought him back in to be re-tested.  Again I called for over 2 weeks to get the test results and either no one would answer or they would take a message and no one called back.  After a month of this I finally had to go back in person and talk to one of the owners in order to get the test results.  The owner basically told me that if I didn't like the service to go elsewhere.  That's exactly what I did and am very happy with my new Vet.

They were courteous and kind to my animals. I had an emergency, and they took my dog right away. I'm really pleased with them.

Took my Schnauzer in for ear problem at 12:15 pm. Waited untill 4:30 without seeing a vet and left.

They took great good care of him, excellent diagnostic work, x-rays, and follow up consultations with specialists. I will continue to use them as my Yorkie's vet! Dr. Sykes is lovely!

I waited for three hours. I thought it was an emergency,but no one explained that it wasn't or gave an approx. wait time.

Excellent! The staff was very helpful and friendly. This was our first vet visit in Myrtle Beach. Dr. Sykes was amazing! Not only did she answer all my questions she even came back to me when I forgot to ask her some other things. She gave me all the time I wanted and I never felt rushed . When I checked out, Kat was very patient with me and very helpful writing info down for me. Would definitely recommend!

We've been pleased with them ever since we used them, so we just stayed. They're very friendly and professional.

They are really great people. You can call them at night and they will work with you. They are nice friendly people that work well with animals. They work on all kinds of animals, big, small, wild. Their office is nice and clean and their staff is very friendly. We have used them for years.

The Ark Animal Hospital did a very good job on my cat's operation and saved her life. I would absolutely use them again.

They are so busy, they are not always punctual. I think they are a little pricy, but it still is reasonable. They are very professional.

The front office is disorganized and slow. In 3 visits, I saw the vet only once; a tech. assistant relayed the information instead. During a regular office visit, you are not allowed to see the treatment, even just vaccinations!. The dog or cat is taken to a treatment area while you have to stay in the examining room. This happens every time. The prices are generally better than other area vets, but they charged me $238 more than they told me the cost would be. To be fair, when I complained, they gave me a credit for that amount (which I have not used).  I have used this vet from time to time over the years because they are generally affordable, but I have never liked the wait, the waiting room chaos, the lack of face-time with a vet, and the fact that virtually all treatments are done away from the owner.  I have worked as a vet tech. in 3 different vet offices and this practice is a bad policy.

I have always been very pleased with the care my dog has received from the vets at Ark. They are always compassionate, competent, and professional. They also have very reasonable rates and try to save their customers money when possible. At times the wait to be seen has been rather long, but other times we were seen right away, and I didn't mind waiting for my dog to get excellent care.
