Quick, Knowledgeable and professional service. These technicians were great! Not only did they clean out the dryer vent, but corrected some issues both inside and out. My dryer now dries towels in ONE cycle. I would definitely recommend this company. L.M.

Rich and his assistant did an excellent job and made recommendations for future maintenance. I then hired them to clean my HVAC ductwork and they even corrected an issue left undone by the builder at no additional cost. I would definitely recommend this firm to others needing this type of work done.

These guys were absolute professionals! My dryer was taking 4 cycles to dry regular weight cotton cloths. They checked my system and found that lint had been accumulating over the years inside the exhaust pipe and in the dryer chambers. The cause of the problem was found to be a Fantech booster fan at the end of the duct work that was never installed properly. During construction of the condo, the contractors never wired the fan properly - two wires were not connected inside the electrical box on the fan. With the fan not operating, lint could not get passed the booster fan and exhaust to the outside. The result was an accumulation of lint at the dryer and exhaust tube bends and a clogged booster fan. As such, this environment created a potential fire hazard!
They explained that they have seen many issues with the way these fans were installed in many condos throughout the Myrtle Beach area. As part of their cleaning process, they always remove these fans from the duct work, clean them out, and inspect them for any problems. I explained that I have never heard this fan running but I didn't understand how it worked. When he removed the cover to check the wiring in the fan unit, we saw two wires that had never been connected! He connected these wires and tested the unit again and it was now working fine. I expected to have to pay extra for this repair or possible have to pay for a new booster fan to the tune of $250 to $350 installed. Instead, they simply connected the wires according the wiring diagram and consistent with another fan that they had on their truck. The fan worked liked new and there were no extra charges for this repair! When my dryer is on now, I can hear the booster fan motor from inside the dryer. It remains running for 5 to 10 minutes after the dryer shuts off by design, to help the dryer cool down faster which helps extends the life cycle for the dryer. They explained that the booster fan works off a change in air pressure at a sensor in the fan itself. There are no wires or connections to the dryer unit itself, instead, the fan is completely self contained.
As part of the service, RESQ staff also cleaned the dryer vent - a 30 foot run with some twists and turns from dryer to the outside using special patented cleaning nozzles that worked with forced air. This technology allows them to easily reach all the twists and turns in the duct work without compromising any of the connections within the wall. Other companies might use brushes and vacuums to clean duct work which work well but can also compromise piping connections within the wall, especially at turns.
In all, RESQ provided exceptional service using state of the art cleaning equipment (fast, efficient and no mess) and stayed within their quoted price. My dryer is now working better than it ever was. A load that took 4 drying cycles now dries in 1 cycle! That's saving me 3 times my previous cost for running the dryer!
Furthermore, annual dryer vent inspections and cleaning are estimated to be $45 to $65 since my dryer is now in top working order!

Our home is 27 years old and it was definitely time to clean our air conditioning ducts. Our regular service company gave us a quote of more than a thousand dollars so I thought I would shop around. I called Resq for a quote from an ad in Val PAC and rich the owner gave me a quote over the phone for $299 including our dryer vent. So they came and did the job. They arrived on time and got right to work. We have a two story home with two ac units so they started the job on the second floor first. We have always had problems with air flow in a couple of our upstairs rooms. Upon inspection Rich showed us with pictures on his phone what the problem was. The runs to these rooms were buried under insulation in the attic and both were crimped restricting the air flow. He repaired both runs and patched some holes and sealed some leaks at no extra charge. And what a difference it made. Our upstairs unit was always working too hard to heat and cool and I'm sure now we will see a big difference in our electric bill. And the actual cleaning of the ducts and returns was completed to our complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs this type of service.

It was a excellent experience. They were prompt, showed us the issue, what they were going to do to repair. They were efficient , very clean in their work and excellent in cleaning up afterward.

I was very impressed with these guys. I had just bought my condo and had them out to both clean the dryer vent and clean the air vents. They cleaned the dryer vent 1st and were up-front with what they found (including some water that had accumulated). When it came to cleaning my air vents, they took a look at my 30 year old HVAC system and turned the job down. They told me that it didn't make much sense to just clean the air vents when the fan system was SO dirty. To properly clean the unit and the air vents would take approximately $500 and that my current HVAC system wasn't worth it. Let alone that if they did anything to it, there was a chance it would void my home warranty coverage. If I really wanted them to do it, they would but their recommendation was to wait until my current system dies and then clean out the air vents once the new system is installed... I greatly appreciated their honesty. They only charged me for the duct cleaning and they also made a note that if I call them again, they'll still honor my coupon for and quot;a free dryer vent cleaning with an air duct cleaningand quot;. I will definitely use them again if I need these services in the future.

Having just purchased a condo we decided to have the dryer vent cleaned as
we didn't know the last time it was done. We found an ad for the service at half
price from RES-Q, Inc. and made arrangements.
Richard and Ozzy showed up at the arranged time, explained what they were
going to do and started to work. Being on the third floor I expected to see
ladders and brushes, but they explained they use the newest technology. They use
air pressure to release and clean the ducts of the lint and then reverse the
process to have the lint sucked back to them, so no need for ladders or brushes.
When they were sucking the lint back to them they called me to show how much
lint was in the vent. They were here only a short time, were polite, and
professional and I made arrangements for they to come back next year to do it
all over again,
Good job, great price and nice guys to do business with.
