It went  great.  Bob listened to my ideas and what I wanted  to have done and executed them exactly as planned. He also came up with very creative ideas to enhance what we discussed and to save me money.,He as able to suggest an electrician that also was wonderful to work with. He and his team were punctual, polite and thorough. They cleaned up after each job. I will continue to call him for all jobs I need done and will call him first.

They previously did two custom homes for me. This job was an addition/remodel. As always they are very reliable, skilled, full of good suggestions and do excellent work. I would never consider another contractor after using Bob Byrnes. He only knows one way to do a job and that's the right way!

I asked Bob to come replace a couple boards on our house shortly after our son was born. When he and his son came by the house to look at it he quickly realized that we did not have just a rotten board, but a rotten roof and a lot of the frame of the house was rotten as well. He also noticed that most of the house did not have flashing and there was no plywood between the foam board and the siding. In order to properly fix our house we undertook a bigger home renovation than we were prepared for at the time- our son was 3 weeks old!  However, I knew I could trust Bob to do the job right!  He built the house I grew up in as well as the one my parents now live in.  
Our house was built in the '70s and the roof line was oddly shaped. In order to fix the problem, not just cover up the problem, Bob said we should make the roof into a normal roof line- when we did this we got an extra 6 feet on the side of our house. Bob and I reworked the interior of our house to make this work. He is amazing! He never had a house plan for what we were doing...we just walked through the house and decided what walls to bust down and where to put new ones. I had some ideas and he had some- together we came up with a gorgeous new home with a little extra room for our expanding family!
Bob came up with a way to give me a walk-in closet with a shoe rack that holds 100 pair! Perfect for my shoe-fettish self! He and the guys built a built-in home entertainment center and did a lot of gorgeous woodwork in our living room to update our existing fireplace and mantel. He truly is an artist!
All the guys who work for Bob have been with him for years. I never worried when I was here alone with them or if they were in my house without me. Bob and all the guys who work for him are like family to my family and me. He has done smaller things for us before the remodeling and since the remodeling and we have been equally as satisfied with all of it. We are actually going to be getting him to do a kitchen update soon...I hope anyway! Our family has now grown to a family of 4 and one of these days we will need a bigger house- I definitely plan on calling Bob to build us our next dream home!

It was Great!  In my 40 adult years, I have probably used 15 contractors and he has been the best by far.

He is very dependable. He was on time, and worked a full day every day until the job was completed. They cleaned everything, reasonably priced. One thing I liked is that he did not ask for any money until he started job.

It was a totally excellent experience. There is not one negative I can think of. Quality is as good as I've ever experienced, and he hits or does better than the quotes. He is the best builder I have ever worked with hands down.
