Most companies want you to buy a new heat pump, smoke detectors, etc when you do not need it. They must get a percentage of the sale so they pressure you into buying it. We could't have asked or found a better contractor. We asked the company who we had a contract with and their estimate was DOUBLE what LHT wanted.  These are Carrier units that were installed. I waited a bit to post this because I wanted to see if there was a difference. WOW, every room is the same temperature. 
Their workers were neat, courteous, and knowledgeable. It took three full days to fix the duct work and install everything including two new thermostats.
