Jarrod P. did NOT come at the original scheduled time and we were not able to get in contact with him to determine when he might be showing up. I called him and text him multiple times, with no response from him. Later in the evening (around 6 or 7) I finally received a text from him asking for me to call him. Jarrod stated that he had a cancellation on Friday and thought that our appointment was the person from Fridays rescheduled appointment and that's why he never showed up. He stated that he would be able to come on Sunday if that worked for him. He said that he would like to be there early because it was supposed to be hot. Around 10:30 I called him asking what time he though he might be here and he said in about an hour. A hour goes by and he still hasn't come to the house so I give him a call and he says he will be there shortly. He finally arrives about 11:45. When he gets to the house he says that he didn't have a full understanding of what the job was supposed to be and that he didn't have the necessary materials to do the job and quotes me $100-$150 for him to get the materials. I said that I would like to be there when they are purchased because I have already priced the materials and I know that they aren't that much. The materials ended up costing about $60. We get back to the house I inform him that the shingles that need to be replaced are on the back of the house. He starts working and begins replacing shingles on the front of that house that are not damaged. I know this because I had someone come out and do an inspection a week before and they stated that the only ones that were damaged/ loose were on the back of the house. He works for roughly an hour when he sends me a text stating that this was more work than what he thought it was going to be and that he has enlisted the help of a friend and while he was waiting for said friend to show up to help him he was going to get something to eat. By this point it was about 4:30. At around 6:30 he still had not come back to the house to finish the work and I cannot get in contact with him. He still has not responded to any of the calls or texts that I have sent him.
