They are very friendly, efficient, and take care of customers. Overall, I am grading them an A, and will also use them in the future.
I took my Honda Pilot into East Coast Honda to have a noise checked out. I was told I needed a compliance arm, rear control arm assemblies and that my rear brakes had 20% left. I explained that I had an extended warranty ans told them where to find the paperwork in my car. I was told they contacted the extended warranty company and that the company had them on the phone for at least 45 minutes. They then told me I would have to pay for the repairs and get reimbursed by the warranty company. I called the warranty company to arrange this and was informed that East Coast Honda was set up to receive credit card payments and that they would pay them directly. I spoke with East Coast Honda again and they told me that the warranty company wanted to send an adjuster and I would have to bring the car back before 2 PM that day. I took the car back and TWO days later it still had not been examined. I was told by the warranty company that no one had notified them that the car was there. I SPECIFICALLY asked Tammy to notify the warranty company and she assured me she would. I again called the warranty company and they said they did not have a local adjuster and had requested photos. I was told by East Coast that the photos had been sent. I asked them to send them to me. They had sent them with the heading: Valentine Photos. I resent the photos and followed up with a phone call to the warranty company. I also want to note that tone of Tammy and the Service manager had become increasingly rude. I finally told the warranty company that I wanted to change the repair shop to a different place and they told me what the qualifications for the shop had to be. It took two weeks to NOT get my car repaired by East Coast Honda. AND when I took the car to the other repair shop, I told them the same thing that I told East Coast Honda when I took it in and they could find nothing wrong other than the brakes, which they said had 30% wear left and that repair right now was optional. So I opted to have the brakes done. I also told them what East Coast Honda had found and asked them to reinspect the suspension. They said they found no failures or safety issues with car.
Service was done quickly.
