My wife and I are 70 and 74 years old, have bought and sold many houses between the 2 of us through the years, and Harrelson Realty Century 21 is absolutely the WORST company we have ever engaged the services of!!! To add insult to injury, these people spend as much time as they can telling you how GREAT their company is!!! If they spent more time attending to the REAL needs of their customers as they do bragging about themselves, they might improve their actual service to their customers.
They listed our condo, and did a little to make it known to other realtors, but another agent with another company brought the buyer. So they did the advertising (for a week), and Pinkas Realty is the company who brought the buyer. Of course, we realize that this is the way it often happens in real estate, so we don't "fault them" for this part of it. But they sure didn't do anything to justify their constant bragging and obnoxious attitude.
Also, they have a sentence in TINY print at the bottom of the realty listing agreement that states that they charge an extra $195.00 "processing fee" for their paperwork, etc. This is similar to the "document fee" charged by car dealers. It's interesting that they place it at the very bottom of the main body of information (so the seller will overlook it!), and in smaller print than the rest of the information!!! And they do not mention this extra fee when they try to sign you up with their company.
If they are an honest company, and do the "quality" work for the customer that they claim to, then why "hide" this part of the contract in smaller print than the rest of it ?!
Although they have one agent meet with you to explain their services (somewhat) and list your property, they "shuffle you around" from one employee to another during the process leading up to the closing....and they have the NERVE and unmitigated GALL to constantly brag about how GREAT their company is!!!
These people have unbelievable ARROGANCE, and LOUSY service!!! We would not use them ever again, and hope this will help others who may be considering using them to make the correct decision.
