We are so grateful we found The Appliance Medic, our Washer & Dryer both had issues and we needed solutions. This Company provided us with a seamless process, from the first phone call of inquiry all the way to the service call. We are reluctant to have a stranger in our home, however sometimes it cant be avoided, thankfully I was comfortable in our Tech's presence and found him to be honest and trustworthy. Our service Tech, Gavin, is capable and gifted with Wisdom to diagnose and repair, add to that he can be trusted to deal fairly, makes him a rare "Gem", count yourself Lucky If you can call him your Appliance Repair Tech! We do.

My wife and I were traveling in our motor home and our refrigerator stopped cooling while were staying in Myrtle Beach. We were frantic and needed someone ASAP. We called Appliance Medic of Myrtle Beach. Shawn, one of there techs, came out almost immediately. He located the problem and ordered the parts so we could receive them the next day. He is an asset to the company and I was very pleased that he went the extra mile for us. I would highly recommend Appliance Medic of Myrtle Beach.

Do not I repeat DO NOT use this company. If I could give a negative 5 I would. Gavin Furino who is the owner is dishonest he will promise you anything to get your money. We paid him $539.00 to fix our refrigerator our ice maker and water dispenser was not working and we also had an issue with it leaking he said he could fix all three things. After we gave him our check he said he would come back the next day because he had to order the parts he did come back two days later only fixed part of the issues it is still leaking and the water dispenser is still not working. I have called he every day and he promises to come the very next day but he still has not come back nor do I think he ever had any intentions of coming back. Save your money his a liar and a terrible repair man.

Worst experience with a repair company EVER. Refrigerator died 5/14/18. Called Appliance Medic, they came out that day. Gavin, the repair tech said we needed to have a control board replaced, and I had to pay for the part and installation now. I paid the $340 for the part and repair, Gavin said they would order the part, usually takes 2 days to ship, but they should be able to priority ship the part, should be done by Friday. I called Kevin on Wednesday, no returned call. Called Kevin again Thursday, he finally called back with an attitude, seemingly mad at me for calling. He claimed the part was being shipped that day, and it should be in by Tuesday (It’s clear that they did not prioritize ordering my part right away). Part came in Tuesday, I called Kevin multiple times throughout the day for an estimated time. He did not return any of the calls. Gavin called at 5pm Tuesday and said he could not put it in, that he was 45 minutes away. After many calls, with no call-backs, it became clear to me that they had my money, and THEY WERE PRIORITIZING ANY NEW BUSINESS CALL THAT CAME IN AHEAD OF MY REPAIR. At that point I was done with their lying and horrendous service. I left another message that I was cancelling them and contesting my payment with my credit card. Long story short, I ordered the part from AppliancePros.com at 2pm Wednesday, had it delivered overnight, received it by 3:30pm Thursday and had it installed by 4pm – the day before Memorial Day weekend – 11 days after I contacted this horrible company. 2 days later, Gavin sends me a message that they would come out the day after Memorial Day – 15 days after original contact – what a horribly run company with NO interest in service. They lied to me, they treated me poorly, and they dropped me to the bottom of their priority list as soon as they had my money. My opinion, liars and frauds. Best advice I can give is STAY AWAY, call anyone else.

Kevin agreed to to pencil us in since he was in the area, but was unable to see us like he initially committed to. Not a big deal since we expected to wait a day or two. Kevin agreed to come the next day. He showed up within the promised window and verified what we already knew. He quoted us a price for a replacement part and requested a deposit--not a big deal. We received a call two days later saying he could not find the part--again, no big deal. We never received a refund that was promised for our deposit. We are/were willing to pay the service call charge, but the lack of communication is unacceptable. I have disputed my credit card charge so I am not out of the $200 we put down as a deposit on the non-existent part. I'd proceed with caution.

Had to commit to price prior to them coming. Missed 2 scheduled times for arrival. They need to be more experience in the time repairs will take so appointments are met on time or calls made if tech will be late. Owner and 2 assistants finally came to fix appliance. Took over 1 hour to replace ice maker. Had to look on internet for instructions how to do this!!! On the plus side they did check all other components of the refrigerator to assure they were working and the new ice maker is working. Price quoted from "Blue Book" of appliance repair. Higher then others who have performed the same job for me in the past and took much longer. When they were leaving had to be reminded to turn on water supply and adjust ice maker arm so unit would work. Wonder about level of training the owner had since going into business 6 months ago.

Appliance Medic scheduled service for the following day. Later, they had a cancellation and came the same day I called. The tech was friendly, knowledgeable and quick. He had the necessary part on his truck and replaced it. Dryer functional the same day it broke!
