Mr. Griffin received $3500 on June 10, 2008. He failed to call when workers were scheduled. His employees left rooms in a mess making it impossible to have a completed room...still don't have a completed room. His employees did not know how to perform some of the techniques needed to install the flooring. Mr. Griffin failed to call when workers were scheduled to show and didn't. He came back and asked for money which my husband provided so he could buy the rest of the materials (an additional $2000). On Friday, June 10, 2008, one of the employees asked for a check for $1500 which my husband paid. We also had to buy nails for the quarter round (55.00). As of now, we have $7050.00 invested and about 75% of the work done. Mr. Griffin led the Mexicans to believe we owed them rather than him. We made a huge mistake in paying the additional money but he shook hands with my husband promising the job would be finished to our satisfaction. He owes us over 300 feet of quarter round and about 500 square feet of flooring and at least one to two days of labor to finish the job. There is much more to this story but the main facts are here. We have consulted a lawyer and awaiting his intervention. We have little hope of the job being finished and we learned a valuable lesson.
