PJ & T Cleaning Service

Pattie is nice enough and she talks a good game. The problem is she didn't deliver on even a fraction of the services she stated was in a standard cleaning. In a nutshell, cleaning to occur on 02/27/16. Emailed Pattie 10 days earlier and she responded she had the dates (including this one).  My guests come into a dirty home. Called Pattie. "Oh, I texted you this morning". Neat trick, I have a landline. "Oh, I'm sick". Ok, send someone from the large pool of workers you state you have. "You never gave me the dates". Hmmm. I sent her the email (again).  Pattie does go over. It was late and I mistakenly assumed everything that she markets as a cleaning was completed. Oh, no. The guest gets in touch with me the next day because only half of the towels and linens and been set out. In addition, Pattie never checked the stocked supplies, nor replaced any from my owner's closet. I receive another unhappy phone call. I send Pattie an email, call multiple times on her cell and home phone and ask her to correct the problem that day. No return calls, no messages, no response until a late day email saying she was an hour away and couldn't do it, but for me to schedule a time for her the next morning. Huh!? I hired Pattie because she portrayed herself as a full cleaning service, with the necessary workers to do the job. She provided a 1 1/2 page list of the standard cleaning items she conducts each time. I was willing to pay well over market value for someone who would provide these items, be dependable and show up, and be willing to correct if something was missed. This incident was in Feb, the lowest season in Myrtle Beach. She showed up 12 hours late, vacuumed,  then left! If you can't get it right in low season, you sure won't get it right in high season! I will give her credit for one thing - she actually didn't bring back dirty towels as she threatened. That is the only upside in this.  As an owner, don't use the cleaning "services" posted on Angie's List for MB because you'll get anything but. Pass on this one.

I did not feel they really had the experience or maybe the knowledge to really clean properly to my satisfaction. When I complained about mold in my shower and asked if they knew how to get rid of it, they did not seem to know. They suggested I contact the contractor. When I mentioned the stainless appliances needed to be cleaned and should shine, they had excuses as to why that could not  happen...the problem with having stainless steel. After the second visit, my husband and I had to wipe down the counters in the kitchen because a coating had been left. That is when I discontinued the service.
The owner and cleaner were very nice, but I did not feel they really had a handle on how to properly clean a private home. The reference I spoke to was very pleased, but it was a rental. Perhaps rentals do not require the same attention.

Patti is very responsive and has handled a VERY last minute request for me. No complaints from my guests, which I am very happy about! Very professional to deal with.
