They were late arriving. REALLY late. Over two hours late. And the daylight was fading AND it began to rain as promised in the weather report. We ended up moving many items ourselves (either downstairs or out of our apartment) just so that when they eventually arrived there would be less for them to do since we were losing daylight (allowing to see well) and we wanted to get on the road ourselves. We were delayed by at least two hours...more like three.
To their credit they did communicate that they were going to be delayed....but it really impacted us because even their revised time was later than they said. Everett (the owner) was always kind and professional and friendly any time we had any communication with him -- you can tell this is a man with a good heart. Something may have happened at their previous site that impacted them... BUT it was a real issue for us nonetheless. (We expected a reduction of some sort since we ended up doing a good bit of the schlepping ourselves.)
I'd like to recommend them -- and I do -- but with unfortunately with some reservations. Their price was good, however. (Maybe it would be wise to procure some kind of agreement up front about timeliness and rate if their schedule becomes compromised in any way such that effects your plans.)

The owner, Everett Plowden called to confirm the appointment & was a little bit late but called to let me know. Very professional crew. No furniture was scratched or damaged. He has all necessary equipment to handle the job.
