Fitness Edge

Its very convenient ten minutes from our home, it very clean, it's not over crowded during most of the day. The people there are very friendly and the machines are always in working order which is something i have not found in other fitness centers.

I have belonged to several fitness centers in other cities and have a critical eye for details. The Fitness Edge staff is always, always glad to see you. The trainers are enthusiastic, skilled professionals. There is a wide variety of equipment and classes, and most of the classes (cardio, zumba, yoga, etc) are free. Lockers and showers are always clean. The real bonus here is that someone is always cleaning or picking up, there is abstract art (!) in the cardio area and locker rooms, and the people that go to Fitness Edge are just like you and me. Okay, it would be nice is the weekend hours were expanded a little, but I get it and really, Fitness Edge is always open when I need to get a workout in. I made a good choice.

Highly recommend. Wide variety of equipment. Staff cleans continually. Art in the cardio and locker rooms(!). Most classes are free. Trainers and staff are all exceptional. Most important, the patrons are people like you and me.

We have been going there for six months. It is a very good facility, it is convenient, and it is clean. They have various group classes, all types of machinery and it is a very nice gym without being one of these huge places, I think it is of perfect size. They always run specials; I pay about $400 for the year, which is around $39.99 a month. The price depends on the time of the year because they always run specials. There is nothing that I dislike, that has made me angry, or that I wished they had. So far, it has been fine. One does have to sign a contract when joining them, so I would advice others to get the fee in writing, the type of the membership and the cancelation policy in the contract because it can difficult to get a refund sometimes when one has to leave or move out. I have been a member of a gym, all over for years so I would advice others to get the terms of the contract in writing and make sure one understands them. They did not have an initiation fee when we joined and that was a plus. One should look for any hidden charges like maintenance fee and so on. I really like it here. The price is in line with everybody else around here. They are very friendly and very knowledgeable. It is a smaller gym, so they are little bit more responsible to my needs. They are open early in the morning. They are very good. They know me by name when I walk in the door and for me that is important.
