Everything went very well. With the chaotic mess of the constant rain and how busy SERVPRO was, I was impressed with their professionalism, and knowledge. The Technicians listened to our concerns and we felt very comfortable with them handling the disaster.
The hardwood floors in our dining room and living room had to be removed, as well as, the carpet and padding in the den. The Technicians were very efficient.
The did a good job a explaining the process and did what they said they were going to do.

"Ma'am, there our four different SERVPRO's in town. We have no record doing work at your address, as a matter of fact, the territory I service is the West Ashley, Downtown Charleston and Mt Pleasant areas. I'm sorry you had a horrible experience but no one at our office did work at your house. Also, there were numerous of other SERVPRO franchises assisting during the 1000 year flood, and it could have been a franchise not from the Charleston area. The provider may or may not respond to you. Much will be promised, and the execution is a nightmare. These guys are NOT qualified to handle the work -- and the men they hire have, in some cases, zero experience with taking out floors, and handling a true restoration project. The project took three times as long as it should have, with the owner not knowing (at times) that the work wasn't being completed. This "tear out" lasted for months, and moved at a snails pace, with floors and crawl space completely open for weeks at a time with our air conditioning running at top output over the hottest months of the year. Our electric bills went up an additional $400 PER MONTH because of this. Work space was not left in a safe condition -- and we, as home owners, were not communicated with proactively by this ServPro team. Often, we had to track the ServPro owner, Kevin, down on our own, to find out the status of the project. The list goes on and on. The contractor he recommended, Caliber Construction, to bring in wood/drywall repair was just as irresponsible and inexperienced. Stay clear of both these companies.

They were a good service. They showed up as soon as it happened. He was very responsive when I contacted him. The person who came had to subcontract the drywall work,. it took a little long but it saved us money. Overall it went very well.

They are wonderful. I don't know how much they charged me for their services. It would have been $120. I will most definitely use their services again in the future.
