Windward Shutter came and supplied hurricane shutters for me in 2015 . I spent over $5,000 with the company. They supplied a schematic drawing which shutters belonged in each window and each shutter was matched. No one ever showed me how they were to be installed. Just stacked in my basement. When Matthew came, we pulled the shutters out to learn that no bolts, nuts or screws were supplied. kept calling the company to try to have them supply the, No one answered and their mailbox was full. Got my own from Lowes. Went to install the shutters per their schematic drawing. Not one of the shutters fit the window it was supposed to fit. Spent 3 days bending and smashing the shutter into the window that would closest fit. After the hurricane tried meeting with the company decision makers but they only sent the installers. Finally 6 months later the owners came and refused to refund my money. After the way we were treated, I would run from this company. They were incompetent and not only screwed up my shutters but several other neighbors. They did not stand behind their work and were no where when I needed them.
