Description of Work: My roof was 22 years old and showing signs of its age. When there was a very hard rain plus hard blowing wind, water marks appeared on top of the wall in the family room just below the flashing. Many of the shingles were cracked and it was obvious that we needed a new roof. Several contractors were contacted and gave estimates far above Wade's. This, of course, made me suspicious that the quality of his work might not be the best. I contacted a friend who has the franchise for one of the local Ace Hardware stores and who had dealt with Wade in the past. He assured me that his work was up to snuff. Wade gave me an estimate of approximately $8,000 (I had been expecting $10,000 or more). After I checked him out, I hired him and was very pleased with the results. His crew put on shingles that carried a 20 year warranty, showed up promptly, and really worked hard and efficiently. It was obvious they knew what they were doing. Wade came by several times a day to assess their progress and answer any questions I might have. In addition to the scheduled work, they cut a roof ridge vent at no extra charge. I was expecting to need to replace the old aluminum flashing with copper which is really expensive. Wade inspected the flashing personally and told me it needed a little reforming and resealing and should be just fine. Wade personally inspected the final work and gave it his OK. Then he gave me a discount making the final total $6,500.It is now one year and three months later and we have had absolutely no problem with the roof or flashing. I would not hesitate to give him my unqualified recommendation.

Description of Work: Wade Windham Roofing removed the old shingles and hauls and installed the new drip edge. They installed new layer of felt and new 30 year architect CertainTeed shingles. They used 6 nails per shingles and installed new ridges and new pipe flashings. They also replaced all deteriorated plywood under the shingles. They cleaned up all the trash after they were done.
