Could not have been better.

The movers arrived on schedule and were very nice. Quickly I noticed they were not wrapping any furniture. I immediately called Mark Pendergrass to inquire about the insurance coverage. I explained to Mark that I was surprised they weren't protecting my furniture and he explained what the standard insurance covered and I opted to take additional coverage for $10,000 in damages. He explained he would call the supervisor on my job and let him know. Immediately after Mark called his crew they started protecting my furniture. The crew was training a new employee on how to carry/lift the furniture and they were all very professional. Not long after they started unpacking at the new house I was informed by the crew that the new guy had damaged my headboard. At this point I wasn't too concerned because I had purchased the additional insurance. Then I watched them drop a side table (face down) onto the concrete walkway, place by solid wood coffee table (side down) onto the concrete walkway, unload a tall arched lamp from the truck with the (now damaged) unwrapped and still attached lampshade bobbling as he walked, etc. I began to inspect the items as they were unpacked and noticed many pieces of furniture had scratches or areas of damaged wood at or near the bottom or on corners. My son's bunk bed was also damaged (perhaps beyond repair) when they reassembled it with a screw gun and tightened all the screws too much and split the wood beams on both the upper and lower bunks. One of our couches has a couple of tears in the fabric and large dirt or grease marks. Lastly, they forgot several items in the house that I've since retrieved. I'm currently working with Pendergrass to assess the total damages and repair/replacement. The ratings below are reflective on the service to date and may improve (or worsen) depending on the resolution. While the cost of the move may have been inexpensive, I would rather pay $3,000 to ensure my belongings were not damaged.

Everything was great!  The crew was very professional, punctual,  pleasant, and courteous.  We couldn't have asked for anything better.  They were very thorough, asked questions when necessary to clarify what pieces in each room were being moved, and took very good care of our furniture.  Outstanding service!  They will definitely be handling the remainder of our move.

They called with 45 minute notice just as they said they would.  Were very kind, professional, and prompt.

Mark and his employees were extremely courteous, professional, safe and a pleasure to work with.  Every item was packed and treated with great care, and nothing was damaged in the move. They moved our belongings from our primary home and also made stops at multiple properties around town to get more items.  Every person was respectful and I felt safe having in them in our home with our two young children.  I hope we never have to move again, but will definitely recommend Pendergrass Moving Company to anyoned making a move!!

The job went very smoothly; all hands were very professional and handled everything carefully. They were extremely time efficient, even with the individual wrapping of artwork and other items. Mark handled a relocation for my aging parents a few years ago and did an amazing job working with me to create the space to be very similar to the one they left which was very comforting to my mother. When I move again into my next permanent residence, Pendergrass will be my mover.

Very professional and courteous team. They took extra care with our household goods, asked questions if there were any doubts, and most of all were punctual and extremely efficient. I've have already recommended them to numerous other people who will be moving soon. The owners are very engaged in the business which ensures a high quality of service.

They were great. The owner, Mark, came by a few weeks in advance and walked through the apartment to see what we wanted moved and worked up an estimate. He was on time for the estimate appointment and easy to work with. He quoted me a price based on 5 hours of work. We had a 3 man crew the day of the move and the crew included Mark which I thought was great. They showed up about 8:25 am and they said they would be there at 8:30 am. The other two members of the crew were well dressed and very polite. Very nice guys. They got to work right away and worked very quickly. They had all of their equipment and worked hard to take care of our furniture. They did not break for lunch and finished up at the new house at 2:00 pm. The final cost came out to be a little more than the estimate but that was because we had them move a few more things than originally planned so the job took 5.5 hours rather than Mark's estimated 5 hours. Overall it was the best experience I have had with a moving company. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing moving services. I will use them with any future moves I have.

Mark made my move easy and stress free. They were very professional and kind, my household items were safely packed and delivered. Next time we move I will definitely use them again.

They were terrific, they sent 4 men, moved the furniture, sent it up at the new house, centered everything, and finished early, I was extremely pleased

He was so good to me on the day of this move. He showed up one man short and still did the job in less time than he originally thought. He even gave me back about $250 because of the less time it took. His men were all very well dressed and very courteous. I was very comfortable with all of them and him. They got the job done quickly and it was a pleasure working with them. They made the most miserable day of your life, moving day, so much more tolerable.
