The service was excellent

Mark and his assistant worked me into their schedule as he wanted me to feel safe about the circuit breaker.  He did a great job and did multiple testing of plugs.  The rewiring job was done with minimal fuss and the outside spotlight was replaced without issue.  He also provided some thoughts on another project I had in mind and provided valuable insight.  All together, I was entirely satisfied with the great job and the time they took to give advice.  Mark and Christopher were cost conscience, professional, and polite/courteous.  Will definitely keep their number available for future use.

They installed outdoor motion detectors and a big surge protector for my entire house.  The surge detector took a long time to get. Martin the owner told me they delivered the wrong one so had to wait about an extra two weeks on that.  The motion detectors did not work right but they came back and made some adjustments, they work better just not great.

He came out right away. It was his off day, and he said that he would come out because he didn’t want to lose my business. He also walked me through what he was doing and showed me step by step. He stayed longer than he quoted me, but he didn’t charge me extra because he said that he wanted me to learn how to do this myself.

Mark has been great.  He is very prompt to give and estimate and perform work.

Very well. They did not over charge. I am an older woman who lives alone and have been taken to the cleaners by contractors. I would have added a zero to their bill, no questions asked. They have every wiring job I will ever have Poor Dears. Old lady. Big house. Miles of wire. I am looking forward to working with them again.

I initially contacted Mr. Stonestreet in March, 2013, and left a voice mail as to what was needed and who referred me.  I received a quick return call, and we discussed the general estimate that I needed for the building.  My inspector had already gone through the building in detail, and had determined that there were significant issues with much of the wiring in the building, finding past evidence of a fire, and two other places where possible electrical fires could occur unless quickly resolved.  
     Stonestreet spent substantial time going through the structure, talking with me about the issues discovered, developed a thorough Scope of Work, and provided me with routine updates as to the work needed, the progress of the work, and the proposed next steps along the way. His staff were punctual, polite, and have worked steadily without issue.  I do not have to monitor the hourly work being performed as I do with my other contractors, as in the past 60 days, there has yet to be one issue or discrepancy.
     As I anticipated, the electrical work needed with this project was substantial.  I have been provided a detailed Scope of Work and detailed invoices along the way for accounting purposes.  Stonestreet has been punctual, professional and honest, working with me in detail to plan purchases, and showing me the invoices for all his purchases of electrical equipment prior to sending me an invoice. In explaining how I preferred some of the lighting installed, I only had to give general ideas to Stonestreet, and he took it from there. The initial work for this project is at the completion stage, and have already made the decision to hire this company to do the next two projects.
     I have been exceptionally pleased with the work performed, and will continue to keep this company as a member of my team for future investments in the area.

With the advice and direction from this electrician,the overall work is better than I could imagine. The results are fabulous and I get to see it every day in my new beautiful kitchen!

Two people from the company came out and worked on my motion detector lights. They broke one of the light fixtures and never returned to replace the one they broke or install a new fixture.  The bulbs are still laying in the flower bed and I am still waiting for the repairs.  I did call the company and received an apology and a promise to make things right but that has not happened. I cannot in good faith recommend this company to anyone looking for any electrical repair work.

With the thunderstorm and power outage the electricity to an important few outlets was out.  I checked here on Angie's List for an electrician after going around checking the breakers and gfi's and finding nothing that would restore service.  I called Martin/Marty, the owner of the company and he was able to come over on a lunch break to not only assess the problem but also located the fix.  They arrived promptly within the time frame that Marty noted over the phone, and they were professional, quick and friendly. The fix was simply a gfi in a room that I was not aware of (hate to admit that) but, we did have a couple of other issues he noted.  We discussed a timeline for these fixes based upon a remodel that we are in the process of preparing for and his recommendations were very helpful, honest and appreciated.  Some contractors might push for the work right away but Marty realizes the benefit of longterm partnership with clients and respects them as such.  We have been seeking out a contractor to assist with other projects and I am going to have he and his partner over in a couple of weeks to discuss a possible quote for these items.  

A+ service and price!  Mark, the owner's partner performed the work and I was very satisfied.  He had an assistant with him who was also very professional and knowledgable...they worked well together.  The price was very competitive and work was completed within quoted time.  These guys really went the extra mile to maneuver a tall ladder inside a small workspace in order to avoid the cost of assembling scaffolding.  The new light is the focal point of the front of our house and we couldn't be happier.  Awesome work!

Price was right and work was performed exactly as described.  Easy to arrange appointment.  Will definitely use Stonestreet again.

The service was excellent. They showed up on time and completed the work within their estimated time frame. They also called ahead to let us know they were coming. Overall very satisfied with their work and would use them again.

I first reached out to Martin Stonestreet Electrical from Angie's list.  He was extremely responsive, I received an email from him the morning after I'd contacted through Angie's List.  He was very flexible with regards to coming out to see the scope of work and provide an estimate, even offering to come over the weekend.  We agreed on a Friday and they came as arranged, looked at both jobs, quoted me their rates, and said he get in touch over the weekend and let me know when they could do the jobs.  Didn't hear from him.  Sent a text message on Monday telling him I really needed to get the irrigation system work done, he responded within an hour and we arranged for them to come Tuesday at 5:30.  They arrived on time, prepared with what they needed to complete the job and got it finished in an hour.    We talked more at this time about adding electricity and the ceiliing fan to the pergola.  I told him I would go ahead and purchase the fan at Lowe's over the weekend and he stated they'd get back "first of the week" to complete that job.  He also stated I could just pay him for the  irrigation system work together with the other when they were all completed.   On Wednesday of the following week, when I'd not yet heard from Martin, I sent another text message telling him that the first of the week had come and gone and what was the word?  He replied early the next morning, immediately apologizing and saying he had been inundated with service calls, the earliest he could get to me would be Monday or Tuesday, and if I needed to move forward with another electricican there would be no charge for the work already completed.  I replied by telling him I wasn't interested in looking for another electrician, I just needed him to  give me a time that he was certain that he could perform the work and I would be fine with that.  We settled on a mutually satisfactory time of Tuesday morning at 8:30am.  They arrived at 9am and two men worked until they completed the job at 2pm.  I was completed satisfied with their work.  They cleaned up after themselves, were friendly and professional.    I received the invoice for the irrigation system and pergola work via email one week after the final job was completed.  I paid it the following week.    Even though I did have to reach back out to Marty a couple of times due to his schedule, he was always very apologetic, completely respectful, and the quality of the work was so that the other felt inconsequential.    I would not hesitate to use them again.

Martin Stonestreet and his assistant were professional and just great guys to work with.  They picked out the fans, answered phone calls, and where very patient about fixing multiple problems. Having a home on the beach is difficult but the worst part is finding someone who will show up and answer my calls.  Took care of things in a timely fashion and were very honest and just nice people to work with. Highly  recommend and will keep them on speed dial.  Also very reasonable pricing.

They are very honest and the prices are very reasonable.  The work is very good - they take the time to do a good job, they are very personable and are very nice to my animals!  I can't highly recommend them enough!

My mother passed away in South Carolina this past January.  I am the executor of the estate, which is being prepared for sale.  I live in Florida and have no other family closer than two hours away from the estate.  I received word on Saturday July 23 that some part of a tree had fallen in the yard in SC, taking down some power lines and actually killing power for a number of homes along the street.  Our neighbor across the street there was one of the unlucky recipients of the loss of power.  She noticed the local power company truck in our yard and went over to see what was going on.  She relayed to me, that afternoon, the situation and the fact that we would need an electrician to reconnect the power to the house.  I tried for quite a while to find someone to come out on a Sunday.  After being told about Angie's List, I joined and quickly found a list of candidates in that area.  After calling several, I was disappointed in the result.  Then I found "Stonestreet Electric" around 8:30 PM Saturday night.  Martin (Marty) was a very nice man who listened attentively to my situation.  He quickly agreed to be at the estate at 9:00 AM the next day.  He offered to use his contacts at the power company to get as much information ahead of time to make the trip there more productive.  He did meet the power company technicians there at 9:00, went over the details and instructions from them and promptly called me.  We were able to arrive at a valid, workable short term solution in just a few minutes.  He was my eyes and ears on site and proved extremely valuable and professional.  I won't hesitate to call him again or suggest anyone needing help in that area to call him first.
