Jeff and his guys repainted the exterior of our home. Good communication, reasonable pricing, excellent work. Would recommend.

We did the porches and pickets around the pool deck this year.; also a badly sun-damaged front door. Two weeks work Southern wasn't the cheapest, but I felt that the quality would be good and I felt comfortable with the crew and the workmanship promised. All was as advertised.

It was easy to contact Jeff by phone. He arrived on time for appointment to scope out the work. He outlined what his crew would do - sanding, caulking, filing in holes from picture hangers, etc. Once we agreed to go ahead with the work, we were able to work out a schedule. Work was professionally and efficiently done. They removed door knobs and electrical cover plates instead of painting around things. Jeff's crew (3 painters) was courteous and diligent. Plus, they did not make a mess when cleaning up the painting tools. The crew completed the work within 2 days with excellent results! We will use them again for our next house paintiing project. We highly recommend Jeff and his team.

We wanted to have some interior painting done. Jeff responded to my call quickly, gave me a proposal and started the job when promised. The team worked efficiently and cleaned up when they were done. Very happy with the work and I would use Southern Paint and Restoration again.

Jeff was very professional and helpful in describing the entire scope of the job and the details of the work that needed to be done. He was always easy to contact and answered all my questions and concerns without any hassle. The job took 2 1/2 weeks from pressure washing to scraping and caulking and filling holes and spot priming and finally applying 2 coats of top quality paint. He also cleaned the screens and windows and left the rest of the property looking as if no one had been there. The house looks absolutely amazing. I couldn't be happier. Thank you Jeff, you have my wholehearted recommendation of your work. You should be proud.

Jeff was prompt, curteous, and professional. He painted the entire exterior of our house which included nearly a week of prep work. It certainly paid off! Our house looks 20 years younger. He additionally refinished the front porch, helped choose painting and staining colors, and was there almost daily over the three week period. He stands by his work. However, he is not the least expensive painter you can hire. I often find, you get what you pay for. His workers were quiet and efficient and cleaned up after themselves every day. I never came home to ladders or paint cans anywhere. I plan to use Jeff for yearly house washing, painting touch ups, and whatever may be needed. I highly recommend him; you won't be disappointed.

Jeff and his team were great to work with. The estimate he provided was thorough. I knew exactly what was going to be done and what it would cost.  He was easy to reach and communicate with and kept me updated on the scheduling and completion of my project.  He was very considerate of my time. He even had one of his guys come while I was home on a Saturday to paint my front door so that I did not have to leave them a key or rearrange my work schedule to be there. His team was very professional. Between work days the areas where they were working were left neat and clean. They did a quality job. Their attention to detail was great. I am really happy with how everything turned out. I highly recommend their services and will definitely be calling them again.

Everything went very well and we are pleased with the results.  Jeff was very hands on both in keeping us in the loop on scheduling the work and managing his team while onsite.  The team was very efficient and finished the entire project in a day and a half.  We would definitely use them in the future and would recommend to anyone that is looking for a high quality, reliable painting company in the greater Charleston area.

Jeff and his crew did an amazing job.  They power washed the whole house.  Then they did all of the trim by hand as well as all of the porches and french doors.  His staff was thorough and courteous every step of the way.  The finished product was a house that looked brand new.  Jeff was onsite and checked work every day.  Upon completion we did a walk through of everything and he didn't sign off until we were completely satisfied (very few touch ups were needed). I would highly recommend him to everyone who wants the job done right.  It is several months later and our house still looks the same as the day his guys left even through the heat and bugs of the summer.  Wonderful, knowledgeable guy with a fantastic work crew.  We will use him for all of our painting needs in the future.  I can't recommend them highly enough.

It went great.  Jeff was hands on, professional, and responsive.  I liked that he was present and personally oversaw the work being done by his team.  I also liked that he did not take my concerns lightly.  (I'm pregnant and was worried about lead paint.  Other painters I interviewed brushed this off, but I really appreciated that Jeff understood and took all necessary precautions.)
Jeff was extremely thorough and paid attention to detail.  They worked on a schedule and were very clear about what needed to be done and when (which was helpful for me to have paint colors ready, etc.)  I interviewed three different companies since this was a big job that took a few weeks.  I completely trust them and handed over my keys several times when I was out of town.

1. Jeff and his team  washed, scraped and removed the rust from the metal railings and columns. They applied a sealant and primer before the finish paint. This was a complex project in terms of the precision and time needed to execute. Jeff supervises a professional team that works efficiently. The job was completed cleanly and to the specifications we discussed.

They were great. The crew was nice, responsive, and here every day. They did great prep work and the painting was great.

I contacted Southern Paint and Restoration to have my front porch, front door and windows painted as well as some siding on the back of the house.  Because of my work schedule I was unable to meet with Jeff Antley, the owner but scheduled a time for him to view the house and the work I wanted completed.  Jeff called me with his observations and very helpful suggestions.  First, he said that the siding on the back of the house would have to be repaired.  He then contacted a carpenter for me to give me an estimate for the work to be done.  After getting a very expensive estimate back, he then suggested I contact a siding company. Which I did at a great cost savings.   Thank you, Jeff and Coastal Siding and Windows.
All of my contact with Jeff was through phone and email.  I even emailed him pictures of the paint color that I wanted for the front door.  He was very helpful and professional.  He suggested I replace the weather stripping on the front as it was worn and broken in some places.  He picked up the weather stripping at the store and installed it for me.  Very nice!  He touched up some areas on my kitchen ceiling and all work both in and out of the house was very clean and complete.  
I am very happy with my services and would highly recommend Jeff and his company to my friends.

Southern Paint and Restoration did a great job on our home, they came highly recommended to us in Charlotte by a prominent home builder. Jeff arrived promptly and took his time explaining in detail the entire project to my husband and I and shortly after we received a timely and very acceptable quote from him. We had some specific and challenging time restraints and Jeff bent over backward to meet our needs. He and his crew arrived at our scheduled date on time and were a pleasure to work with throughout the length of the job. He and his men were pleasant, respectable, honest and thorough. At the conclusion of our job, we were very pleased...our home looked great! They finished by the promised date and there were no hidden or extra charges added in during the process. We first used Jeff and his team in 2011 in our prior home and have just hired him to complete another extensive job on our current home.

Overall, Jeff kept to his word and I trust his commitment to quality and service will be unmatched. You get what you pay for with Jeff and his team...high quality and great service. Our kids and neighbors were playing in the yard when he was finishing up the job and he was very committed to finishing the job safely, with his team's interests and my family's interests in mind the whole time. Jeff and his crew were the best company to work with. At the point of estimate Jeff was on time and was prompt with our price. After we chose to use them for the work, things got even better. They were on time each day and when we had rain one day Jeff called us to tell us that he would not be coming that day and that he would see us tomorrow.
