You have to understand that Palmetto Carpet and Floor Coverings hires subcontractors to install the variety of products they sell. I had a tile floor installed so my comments will only apply to tile installation. First the sales people are low pressure and help you purchase what you what not what they want to sell you. There is no "upselling" pressure to purchase a more expensive product. Great people to work with. Now the installers. Two brothers showed up and they were experienced (one told me he has been doing this for 18 years), professional, and extremely competent. They are respectful of your home and realize it is not a construction site but your home. They protected my hardwood floor and sealed off the room in which they were working with plastic to keep the dust at a minimum. They hand carried all the debris out and did all the cutting outside. The quality of the tiling was first rate. They also installed quarter round molding to finish the job. I was concerned that tile installers would not also be good finish carpenters. I was wrong. The molding they installed is some of the best installation in our house. I would use them again and recommend them to anybody.

... From start to finish pure professional. Rich at the store was so helpful. Both my husband and I felt instantly we could trust him. He took time with us and did not try to sell us. As I left his showroom, after bringing them on for a 2nd project, I remarked to him that I felt as if he were my brother.

Bill was great to work with and very responsive to my questions. Everything was competed on time and as scheduled. Kurtis and Daniel did the installation and did a great job. Highly recommend Palmetto Carpet and Floor and would use them again.

I've used them and they've been great. We needed some hardwood flooring to match our current hardwood flooring and they were able to locate it for us because they have done the original job but I had someone else do the installation. I think they're fairly reputable. They do a good job for the most part.

They were very good, reasonably priced, they came when they said they would come, they did the job thoroughly, left it clean, and we've had no problem since. I would recommend them.

It was great. They are a great company. The installer did a very good job and he was very thorough. Their workspace was clean and they didn't leave a mess. They are a high quality company.

They do an excellent job and were very pleased with their service. We gave them the measurements and they said it would be ready for pick up the next day. They also told me to pick up at a store closer to my home which was nice. The price was reasonable and I have no complaints.

Their service was good. They explained everything and the clean up was perfect. The price was what we expected and the quality of the work was excellent.

It was major work and it took a couple days. They had to pull up the old carpet to put down the new hardwood. They disposed of the carpet and went over their work to clean everything.   They did an excellent job and I have no complaints. We were very pleased with the craftsmanship and the price.  It was the best price I found and everything was exactly what I wanted.

They were on time and completed the work quickly. We had multiple contractors here and we had a about a four hour window for them to do the work. They made it to the door on time and they were out the door in less than two hours. They sent about two people and they worked very efficiently. They even called to follow up afterwards to ensure we were happy. We are very pleased with the service.

The estimate was good and so was the service. They sent three people to do the work and they were on time. The price was fair and I was pleased with the work.

I went into the showroom and described what I wanted. They made a suggestion that was exactly what I wanted. It came in different colors so they let me bring home the samples. It was on sale and they were offering a great special as well. I ordered it and it came in and was installed in less than a week. They did a great job, very professional and punctual. The initial price was higher but they matched a lower price I received from another company.

They were fair, they did a great job in the installation and the delivery was right on time. I can't remember what was the actual charge but I felt like their price is really competitive and fair.

Initial installation was delayed due to back-order, after we had removed most carpet and furniture, so that was an inconvenience.  I disassembled the closet doors to make the installation go easier, and the sub-contractor refused to re-install them.  I complained to management and finally was told that they would come out over the Holiday weekend to install the doors (while we were moving back in).  They did not show, and I ended up re-installing the doors - quite unhappy.  There was a flaw in one section, and they ordered new carpet to re-install to fix that.  Upon re-installation I found 2 seams instead of the one that should be there.  They offered to re-install again, and I said I was through with all that.  We settled on a monetary settlement that I thought was fair.Not the best experience to be sure - but the complaints were generally handled professionally and promptly, and the settlement was fair.

They did fine.  We liked them and they did a good job.  The price was fine in line with our rails.  The staff was really professional and very friendly.

It was a positive experience with them. They installed the carpet right. They showed up on time. I would use them in the future.

The men were very professional, worked until they were finished (just went out to their van for little more than 15 minutes to eat their lunch), and were finished in approximately half a day. We were very pleased with the results!
