Healthy-Crawl Space

My overall impress is that this is a great company that stands by their work. My crawlspace looks great, but it took a while to get there. The first crew came in and did an unsatisfactory job. I took some photos and sent them to the owner, Greg. Greg informed me that they had had some problems with the contractors who had encapsulated my crawlspace and had to let them go. The following week, Greg and one of his crew members came over and personally gutted the entire crawlspace, then re-encapsulated it free of charge, and even knocked $1,000 off the price for my troubles. They have also done several followup consultations free of charge. On a personal level, they have been very communicative and easy to work with.

Greg and his crew arrived on the morning agreed to, work was performed with efficiency and quality. Had some delay due to family illness in final completion. Work was completed with complete satisfaction. Would recommend to anyone contemplating having same performed. Greg made a professional and matter of fact sales presentation.

The owner, Greg McBride, was present on site during the job. His crew was professional and clean. Never knew they were working at the site. Mr. McBride does not try to sell you on additional work not needed on the job. He tells you what he does and backs it up with jobs that were completed. The work is superior. He is extremely easy to work with and is HONEST!! Highly recommend

We couldn't be happier with our encapsulated home. Honestly, we were skeptical. Would this work? Was this worth the money? Yes! We noticed dry floors as the product was being installed. We noticed the air conditioner was running much less and temperature in the home was more comfortable. We are so pleased with this investment. I feel like encsupation saved our home from expensive repairs. It feels better insulated and our ac unit no longer runs continuously to remove water. I feel better protected against mold and mildew. Plus, there is an added barrier to protect against pests. Not advertised but I think it will deter against termites. Greg has been out multiple times to check/adjust the humidity. The workers were professional and the work was completed on time. My husband and I are now hiring them to install a system in a rental home. Best investment I ever made!

I was amazed how clean and sealed off my crawlspace was.  Greg and his team did and excellent job.  I had bad luck twice before with contractors that did a sorry and incomplete job of sealing my crawlspace.  The job done by these guys gives me full confidence that

Wow!! I am taking the time to write a review here because Greg McBride and his crew at Crawl Space Doctor really deserve extra special recognition. I had a large amount of work done and it is really impressive. I would use the word "clinical" to describe how clean, bright, dry and fresh my crawl space is now. I was hoping for a big improvement but my hopes and expectations were exceeded far beyond what I had hoped for. The air in our home is drastically different now and Greg's encapsulation is a MAJOR improvement in air quality. I did lots of research on crawl space encapsulations and interviewed three other crawl space encapsulation companies before hiring Greg. The reason we went with Greg is that he handles himself with class and dignity and doesn't try to "close" you. He lets his obvious knowledge and his excellent communication skills do the talking. One other thing about Greg is that he is so professional and in control at all times of what is happening on the jobsite vs other contractors who just let their employees go unsupervised and therefore are not aware of what is really going on at their jobsite.  You will not experience that type of treatment with Greg. They handled our home with "white glove" treatment the entire time never creating and especially not leaving behind any kind of mess. With a large job like I had that featured several moving parts I was so appreciative of how communicative and detailed Greg was and that he went out of his way to keep me updated on the daily progress as well as the arrivals/departures of he and his staff at the jobsite. From the moment I met Greg, the company owner, I knew we were going to hire Crawl Space Doctor. Greg came out to inspect our crawl space, take photos, and explain to me the cost and process. He was very informative and not at all pushy. We used Angie's List to get a few other estimates, but Greg was the only company that didn't try to upsell me on things I didn't need (like a costly humidifier in addition to the encapsulation. Can you say redundant?) and his bid was the best priced. His two employees are incredibly hard workers! In just two days they took our crawl space from nightmare to fresh and clean. They ripped out all of our old insulation, removed roots under the home, sanded the joists to remove mold and fungus then treated the wood, and finally they wrapped the crawl space in 20 mil plastic. We are thrilled with the results and look forward to less moisture in our home and better energy efficiency.
