The wellness plan has been a good option for my puppy. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The wait can sometimes be way too long (even with an appointment). I am not sure if the wellness plan will be a good deal for my pet once he is older and needs less vaccinations.

We had taken our cat, Sasha, to a different veterinarian when she was feeling bad. They put her on a steroid medication that we believed was going to help. Ultimately it made her sicker so we took her to Banfield. They did a through exam and said her liver was failing and as a result the steroid was causing more harm than good. A blood test was not done by the other vet and had they done one they would have known the steroid medication would make her sicker. She had gone for so long undiagnosed that we had to put her down to avoid putting her through more paid and suffering. Banfield was so kind and did such a great job with explaining what was wrong that we will use them for our new pets.

They got me in quickly, but appt. Took hour and a half. While I liked they disclosed costs before running tests, I felt charges were a bit high. Don't think I'll go back, prefer a vet that handles the whole case, versus techs running in and out, with with times in between each step.

They are ready to go every time you schedule. I have been happy with their services. I will use them again in the future. They are good. The quality of service has been excellent.

Overall, I find Banfield more than adequate for emergency or routine pet care.

We had taken our cat to another veterinarian that had diagnosed her with congestion in her lungs and they had prescribed a steroid. Then about a week later she was having trouble breathing and her eyes and ears were very yellow. We rushed her to Banfield and they immediated responded. They said it was obvious that she had liver damage and that a blood test should have been done to determine if steroids should be given. They said the steroid meds had contributed to her liver failure. They drew blood and did several tests trying to treat her but there was nothing they could do to save her and she died. They were extremely knowledgeable and kind.

Prompt and concerned care. Excellent follow-up and explanatory paperwork. I like knowing how much I saved by being on their annual plan. I also like not having to pay for office visits.

I have mixed feelings about them. I really like that they offer so many different services. They provide excellent services and they are convenient to use. They also put a little micro chip behind my dogs shoulders so that if they are ever lost and a certain light that animal rescues or vets use it will state their name and their dog number and who they belong, too. I really like that service. The thing that I mostly have problems with is there charging. It seems every time that I go in there they are charging me like $60 extra for little things that they say that are not involved in the contract. That really is my only complaint.
