TAILORED CLOSETS

Marty and Alane did an excellent job on my closet! They were personable, knowledgeable, professional, neat and organized. I am pleased with my installation and would definitely recommend and hire again.

Very late in posting this but the work was outstanding. I have since had another closet installed, again great workmanship, on time, clean and tidy, took account of all my needs

Alane was punctual, had good suggestions, and told me exactly what could and could not be done. She showed me samples and took measurements. I received a quote a few days later. Shortly thereafter, her husband remeasured for exactness. The install was on time and quick. Everything looks and works great. Highly recommend

I had used Tailored Closets once previously after meeting them at a home show. They did such a great job that we opted not to have our builders put in any closets in our new home and have Marty and Alane put in my new closets! I had double closets in my dual master bedrooms and they did all four closets. They do great work and they always do what they say they are going to do and when they say they are going to do it.....which is SO hard to find in any businesses anymore! If you are looking for a great company to work with that will draw up a great design for your home, definitely use Marty and Alane! They are awesome!

They did an EXCELLENT job. Marty and Alane were always on time, did exactly what they said they would do, and delivered a top quality product. I am intending to use them again in my new home, and was looking up their information on here to contact them again, and decided to leave them some feedback since I was not an Angies List member at the original time the work was done. They were both very nice and a pleasure to work with. I met them at a Charleston Home Show and have seen them again at home shows since that time. I am looking forward to working with them again in the near future.

From the original meeting to completed project, the process took around a month. I took two meeting in my home and changes in the design via email. I would listen to Alene and Allen's suggestions on space and design. I would even listen to suggestions on painting! The couple does all of the work themselves and everything is custom made. They do not just try to fit stock pieces into your space, which is something some other companies do. When they are in your home, they care for it as though it is their home and they take pride in their work. I would not hesitate to have them back in my home.

We've just moved into our Summerville, South Carolina home and wanted to redo the master bedroom and FROG (Finished Room Over Garage and ndash; a new term to us northerners!) closets. In addition to the and lsquo;chain' closet contractor companies we were fortunate enough to find Tailored Closets at a Charleston home show. An appointment for Marty and Alane to come to our home to take measurements and give us a quote on redoing the two areas was set. As true professionals who have been in this industry for a while they spent the first part of their visit asking lots of questions. After that we looked at the closets and they described some suggestions for how to maximize the functionality of the spaces and making them ascetically pleasing. Before Marty and Alane left we mentioned a future project of upgrading two other closets and so they took measurements in those as well. Alane called us, as promised, several days later and set an appointment to review the quote with us. She came back to the house complete with drawings and a 3-dimensional view of all 4 closets. The custom made (not prefab!) closets were wonderfully laid out and with a few minor tweaks fit our needs to a tee. The best part was that the cost quoted was less expensive than any other quote that we had received! The price was so attractive that we were able to upgrade our finishes and options and still come in under the cost of competitors. It was an easy decision to have them do all four closets too! Once again, I have to mention that the Tailored Closet closets were just that and ndash; tailored to our space and not simply fitting in prefabbed boxes (One quote showed significant gaps at the end of the walls where the pre-made sized boxes didn't fit the spaces that we have.). In fact, the structural elements of the closets were made of much better material than the competition. A date for installation was set, Alane called several days before to confirm and that morning she and Marty arrived with all the materials and fully arrayed to complete the project themselves. It was estimated that the installation would take 1-and frac12; days to complete but Alane and Marty were able to finish all four installations in one extended day. Both Marty and Alane are extremely pleasant and accommodating and it was a pleasure to see them work and chat with them during the process. Alane proudly told us that Marty designs and makes his own furniture and knowing that he is a master craftsman certainly explains why he takes such great pride in doing a thorough and complete job with the closets. We WILL have them back!
