About a year ago, I called Excel because my 14-year-old heat pump was not cooling and it was an incredibly hot day. The technician came to my home and explained exactly what was going wrong and what he was doing to fix it. It was a challenging problem, but he stuck with it and got it running again. This was especially impressive because it was also a holiday. This past February when the heat pump finally gave up the ghost, I called Excel. Rick came out and gave last rites and gave a quote for a new one. We agreed on the quote and he and his crew returned when he said they would and completed the installation. They were not able to complete one part of the job and promised to return the next day, which they did. They did a bang up job, cleaned up after themselves, and were 100% professional.
