Scott and Missy Colton built our home in 2007. The process started off well, but then fell into the abyss. We have spent tens of thousands of dollars replacing poorly constructed items in our home over the last 14 years. Although the economic crisis of 2008 was partly to blame, the owners were not up-front with us and hired unqualified subs to complete our home. Anyone thinking of building a home or an addition should not consider Colton Builders.

For a very long time we desperately needed an addition to our home with a large living space and a full bath. Even though it HAD to be done, we couldn't bring ourselves to make a start. I was fearful of hiring a builder because we had never done so and horror stories abound when you are asking folks about home remodeling. We spent an enormous amount of time researching and interviewing construction companies but we always held back. It just didnt feel right. We spent months aggravating..I mean asking ...friends, neighbors and complete strangers about work they had done on their homes. Some had terrible stories and others had wonderful experiences. One name kept coming up again and again from people with projects that turned out beautifully. Once I met Scott Price with Colton Builders I immediately felt at ease and comfortable. He was so knowledgeable about all aspects of what we wanted to do. He had great suggestions and ideas we had never thought of and I began to get excited for the very first time instead of feeling nauseous. He was very honest about all the costs and options and I trusted him enough after our first meeting to give him the job on the spot. Now that the project is completed I want to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to Scott and his wife, Missy, for taking such wonderful care of us and our home. The project turned out perfectly and I can honestly say It was actually a rewarding and enjoyable experience! Thanks to Scott and Missy for giving us a beautiful new space that we love and use every day.
