Kudos to the folks at Factory Furniture Co. in Maulden! In January, my husband and I ordered a Lancer couch and loveseat, had to wait until April (as all furniture makers are backed up due to COVID), picked up our pieces, drove home to Hendersonville, NC (a 75-minute trip), only to find that our loveseat had a broken leg. Immediately I called and spoke with Big Mike (there are three Mikes!) who told us that, “whatever it took,” he’d “make it right.” We loaded up our loveseat and drove back. When we arrived, they all attended to us, found another broken leg (probably happened during shipping), and one of the furniture professionals fixed both legs in 30-minutes, loaded us up—and we were on our way. (I say: "fixed" like in "completely fixed.") Excellent service! Fabulous, compassionate, and genuinely nice people here! Also, we originally bought from them because they were $400 less and had a larger selection than places closer to home. If you’re looking for furniture at a great price, want excellent service, and friendly, knowledgeable sales associates—look no further. They carry very little inventory, but they have catalog after catalog. It was a great experience and exactly what I wanted. They carry a lot of brands, a lot of choices, and a large selection. We wound up with a company out of Taylorsville, North Carolina which is where the furniture was built. They were so great to work with. They delivered it home. We spent too much. But when it is handmade to your specifications and your choice of fabric, it is cheap. There is not a thing I dislike about them. I like the fact that they aren't high pressure. The company is owned by a couple of gentlemen who are just really laid back and comfortable, but who are there to answer any question you might have. They are there to help you in any way they can. They also stay in touch. They tell you when your furniture is coming, they tell you when it is here, and they tell you when it is under delivery. You can't get much better than that. The price depends on somebody's pocketbook. For me, their price was the best. They have more than just living room furniture. They have everything. I would use them again in the future.
