I have used Strand Termite and Pest for approximately 25 years. That does seem like a good base for an evaluation.
Price: the cost of their services has DEFINITELY not risen at the rate of inflation. Their prices remain extremely reasonable, especially when compared to their competitors. One receives a lot of "bang for his buck" with Strand Termite & Pest.
Quality of Service: I have two large dogs and I am an old broad with severe breathing problems. Therefore, quality is extremely important to me. There are many products that would accomplish the tasks at hand but would not necessarily do so safely. Not only does Strand Termite & Pest Control use products that are safe but they know the quality and characteristics of their products, why they might or might not be safe under various situations, and factors that should be considered when using these products. I always have a number of technical questions and they patiently answer them for me. Based on internet searches, they usually send me in the right direction to more thoroughly answer my questions. They truly do know their bugs and the treatments used to treat them. I've used my share of various pest and termite services across the country, including a number of national franchises. None of them have excelled over Strand Termite & Pest.
Responsiveness: Along with breathing problems, I also have more than my fair share of brain farts. Without Strand Termite & Pest Control's quarterly call scheduling me for my next timely appointment, I am sure I would have major bug problems. I have also had some pests that chose to hang around in spite of treatments aimed at them. Strand Termite & Pest has courteously and quickly responded to the problem.
Punctuality: I am not positive (Remember my brain farts!) but I cannot remember even one time when Strand Termite & Pest Control did not show up on time. Also, their calls are scheduled at a specific time i.e. 2:30 PM, 11:00 AM, instead of the infamous practice of "sometime between 1:00 and 4:00."
Professionally: I think the small dissertation above demonstrates Strand Termite & Pest Control's level of professionalism. But to me, this is also the location within the review for those who do the scheduling and are "behind the desks." They have demonstrated their competency and patience to me on a regular basis. And over our 24 years together, I am sure there have been moments when they would have liked a nuclear warhead aimed at my tush. (They really wouldn't have trouble hitting the target!)
And thus is my dissertation describing Strand Termite & Pest Control. I don't think it needs to be said but I'll say it anyway: I STRONGLY recommend them.
Fast forward to the present. After some particularly heavy rains last night, our yard was flooded.....first time since the encapsulation.
After calling the company, Scott Dier and his crew came out within an hour or so of being called. After a quick evaluation of the situation, they went to get a piece of equipment and returned. Within a relatively short period of time, they had cleaned out the drainage lines of debris (roots, etc) and all was well. They used a machine that went the entire length of the drainage line they had installed, plus the one they had tapped into 6 months ago.
Water ewas flowing better than ever.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone.
