This is the second time I have gotten this company to do our windows and we were very pleased with both jobs. I am now calling them back for a third time for a home I just inherited from my mom. They were on time and the cost was reasonable. They cleaned up after themselves very well and left no mess.

I called Tony and he was very prompt with his response. He replaced the window for what he had quoted. The window has a ten year warranty on glass and a one year warranty on labor. He was in and out in no time. Tony is very courteous and very much the professional. I would not hesitate to recommend his services and I would definitely use him again.

The quality of workmanship from the Southern Vinyl Window's was absolutely the best. There aren't words to describe how happy my entire family is with the completed project. I recommend this operation to anyone needing replacement windows.

fantastic. our installers were the Ukrainian brothers, Vlad and Leo Khomichuk. I highly recommend them. They worked hard and meticulously. We had rot around several windows and extensive rot around one. They removed and replaced all the rot with excellent workmanship. I watched the entire process. Fixing the rot slowed the process and the weather did not cooperate, but they finished 39 windows in 3.5 days. About one full day was spent on rot repair. the windows look great inside and out and operate smoothly. Southern Vinyl was not the cheapest, but they have a quality advantage over the other suppliers and a lifetime warranty.

When I decided that I needed to replace some windows and doors that were old and had lost theri insulating seal I called
Southern Vinyl on the basis of a recommendation of one of my neighbors and the good reviews I had heard from others. I
called in to order the windows and doors and indicated that I had carefully done the measuring, however , they said it was
company policy that they send out a rep to do the measuring. Their rep Lamar, came out on March 10th and did the measurments and showed me some samples of the doors and windows which was very helpful. He called in the order and informed me that if the windows and doors were in stock i could get them installed in about 2-3 weeks, but if not that it would take
from 4-6 weeks. I would receive a confrimation call from the office on the availability and actual install date. I received a call within a few hours, saying that the windows would have to be made and that would take up to 6 weeks but usually it was much sooner. I was fine the that and I would receive a call when the windows and doors were in to schedule the install date. On about April 29th I got the call and the install was scheduled for May 2nd in the morning. On May 2nd they arrived as promised, went immediately to work removing the old windows and sliding doors, however when they measured the opening for the French Doors they found that the rep had apparently measured them wrong. They immediately called the office and informed them of the
mistake and told me the office was going to see if they could find another set of french doors the right size...they did not and said they would have to re-make a set of french doors which would take another 6 weeks possibly. They apologized profusely and completed the install of the 2 new bay windows and did a beautiful job. Meanwhile the office informed me that they might hopefully find a set the right size sooner. they did not and so I was left with a 6' x 6' opening in my home! They did return the
next day and covered it with plywood temporarily On June 11th the new doors came in and they came out and installed them without incident. I figured that due to the long inconvenience of no doors and the gaping hole left in my home for 6 weeks that I
ethey would offer me a discount on the job....Not SO! ... I called the office and after a somewhat lengthy discussion they did give me $200 off the final bill. the workers who installed the windows and doors were fantastic, quick, neat clean and did excellent work. But when you pay that kind of money for 2 windows and a set of French doors, I don't expect errors like that...

They were fast, efficient and reasonably priced.

Southern Vinyl Window MFG INC. have their own plant right here in South Carolina and everything is American made. They had their own installers, they don't subcontract it out, they replaced all the windows and their windows have a life time guarantee so they also replaced the wood around the windows which was rotten. The man from Southern asked me why would I put a window that has a life time guarantee in a rotted frame and so they replaced everything, I feel like I have a brand new house. The quality of the windows is unbelievable. They replaced 31 windows. They had a crew of 3 out here. Everything was cut to size. Southern Vinyl Windows followed up and followed through, they did what they said when they said they were going to do it. My house was cleaner when they left than when they came in. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I stopped by the show room and found the windows that i wanted . Danny Guffey was the salesman that i spoke with , he was very knowledgable about all the products. I had him come to my house and give me an estimate for the work to be done. We made an appt.He gave my a very fair estimate we set up a date for the work to be done. His crew were on time and had the windows out and the new ones in in two days time . I am very pleased with all the work and the crew. They were very professional , polite and cleaned up everything as though they had never been here.I love the windows sound barrier quality and insulating factor.If I ever needed windows again i would call on Southern Vinyl Windows.

The men were professional and friendly. No complaints at all. Good attention to detail.

Salesman was very proffessional..........quioted a most compteitive price...........followed up to ensure all was going well during installation and afterwards to make sure we were satisified. They seem to have the best warranty program........

We shopped around for windows and finally settled on Southern Vinyl Windows. At first, we were very pleased with the workmanship. However, as several years went by, we started to have windows where the seals broke. So far, we have had four windows that have failed. They came out and replaced the failed windows under the warranty. We aren't sure what happened to this batch of windows, but so far, they have lived up to their word of replacing if necessary. The installation gentleman and Bridgette in the office have become very helpful and informative and I certainly appreciate that! I know they have lost money on this job, but they continue to be willing to uphold the warranty . That is to be commended.

My house is a 14 yo brick and stucco 1 1/2 story with 27 windows that needed replacing. In 2008 there were very few reviews on Angies list since it was relatively new to this area so I decided to only do a few windows and see how it went. This window faces south so I ordered the heat mirror window but I don't know if it is really any better than the guardian glass. The day it was scheduled to be installed they arrived on time and Aaron ( I think that was his name) the installer came in and remeasured the windows to double check before he ripped out the old ones and found that there had been an error and the windows wouldn't fit. The next time they were scheduled to return with the new windows they called that morning to say that the window had cracked while loading it onto the truck. I was upset about this second delay because I had company comming the next week and that is my guest bedroom. They knocked $200.00 off the bill which was originally $2010.00 and Aaron promised that he would come even on a saturday to install my windows when they were ready if I wanted. Well when the windows were ready we scheduled a regular weekday and they sent contract workers who didn't have the right ladders for this second story window and were going to rest their ladders on my rain gutters until I insisted they had to get the right ladders. It took 2 men all day to install this window. Granted they did find a piece of rotten wood they had to replace. They were not careful in removing the inside trim from the half round and they then pieced it back with liberal amounts of caulk. In fact I have never seen so much caulk around a window on the inside ever. I'm afraid to remove and redo it because of what I might find. After the installation you are asked to sign a statement saying that you are satisfied with the installation. It is very intimidating for a single woman when these 2 big guys want you to sign. Also I had my elderly mother and Aunt visiting at that time. So I signed even though I wasn't happy with the installation . I never want anyone from this company to do work in my house again.

Very well. They were fast but did an excellent job and left the place clean of debrise.

The salesman, Jason Bunch, was excellent. I have never felt as comfortable working with a salesman on a purchase costing over $1000.00. He was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his product, and extremely accommodating to work with us. For example, my wife had another engagement and had to leave before his presentation was over. Jason understood completely and set it up so that I could sign that evening, but verify by phone the next morning. The factory produced our windows in only one day, and the installers came the next day. They had all ten windows in within three hours, and completed the caulking, cleanup, etc. within six. They were polite, efficient, thorough, and accurate. The windows themselves look and feel great. The company's guarantee is second to none: lifetime, unconditional; free service calls. The up-front purchase price is higher than competitors advertise, but value for the money including warranty is excellent.

All I can say is wonderful things about Southern Insulation and Vinyl Siding. The gentlemen who came out to install our windows did an excellent job. They were extremely careful to clean up after themselves and our new windows look outstanding. I was impressed that Southern Insulation and Vinyl Siding made all the windows themselves in their factory and the aluminum frames look just perfect. This was an absolutely outstanding experience. I would recommend Southern Insulation and Vinyl Siding to anyone needing new windows.

I really had a hard time trying to get them back out here to fix our gutters as they were not level and didn't drain well. They did finally come back and fix the problem but it shouldn't have taken that long. I just wish that I would have called around a little but before I decided on this company.
