Stop!!! ... Never Pressure Wash Your House Your home or property was not built to withstand the forces of washing with high pressure water ranging from 1,500 ~ 4,000 psi. Unfortunately, the vast majority of people, believe that you need to use high pressure water blasting away merely inches from the surface in order to get the exterior of a home clean (hence the term "Pressure Washed" or "Power Washed"). Also, to be able to maintain enough force to blast the dirt, grime and mold off of the surface they are attempting to clean once they get higher than they can reach from the ground, they will attempt to work off of ladders. This is an extremely dangerous practice and one that need not be done if when the cleaning is done properly. The inexperience may spray bleach directly to the home's siding with a pump-up sprayer pump then attempt blast the dirt off with high pressure in an effort to clean it. However, this is a poor, ineffective and dangerous cleaning technique.

"I do have a comment to this unfavorable review. I had scheduled to have my truck put in the shop for brake work later that week after I had cleaned this customer's home. On the way to their house that morning around 9:30 as scheduled a traffic light at a busy intersection turned red. I applied the brakes but the brakes failed to stop the truck and trailer it was pulling and I run through the intersection. Horns were blowing and tires screeching from the cars that had the right of way. Fortunately, I got through the intersection without incident. The mechanic's shop where and had the appointment to work on my truck happened to be about a mile up the road so I drove there slowly to see if there was anyway that they could take it that morning. I was told they would do their best to have it ready by lunch. I had called my wife pick me up and after we had driven about 20 miles I realized I had left this homeowner's contact information in the truck so I couldn't call them. I hoped if they didn't see me there by twelve that they would have called me so that I could explain that I may be a little late. Well, the shop got my truck repaired but it was around 4:00. As soon as I got there and paid the $426.00 repair bill , I called the homeowner and told them I could be there in thirty minutes and in plenty of time to clean their house. He was upset which was understandable because he said he didn't want me to do the work and that he would hire someone else. . I must say here that 99% of the homeowners that we work for are not home while we are there and we told them that when we were hired. After I asked him to reconsider, he agreed to give me another chance. Now as for the water in the attic goes. We have been cleaning homes for fourteen years and we have never had this problem before. From the way the homeowner describes the insulation being wet, it sounds like it was improperly placed over the over the soffit vents in the eve. I have a professional home building contractor lined up to come look at the situation to see if there is construction issue with the house or if we did something to get water on the attic insulation. I conveyed this to the homeowner and asked that they bare with me for a little bit, because the contractor had to work this inspection into his schedule. I told the home owner as soon as I knew when the contractor was available that I would let him know. Another thing to consider is we cleaned this house only a couple of days after we had 8" of wind driven rain. Just saying... Another thing is this was somewhat of a miracle cleaning. I was very proud of how the exterior of the house turned out and I couldn't wait to hear what the homeowner thought about it. Even people walking by made comments as to how good the house looked like. When the homeowner called me to complain about the wet insulation, I also asked him what he tho"
