Movement repair, adjustments as needed. We repair most makes and models of clocks. Sorry, no watch repairs. We do very limited case work with primary service is to movement repair. We have worked on movements over 300 years old.

I paid for the service call , I got a rebuilt movement off of Ebay with a 3yr warranty for less than half of the quoted rebuild price from Doug Hatto

"I say good luck. Is the complete movement rebuilt (like I do), or just the bearings that were causing the problems? Is the movement rebuilt with bronze bearings (like I use), or brass that usually wear faster? Is the rebuilt movement installed in the case, as I would have? Does that price include delivery? You get what you pay for. I have seen some of these bargain units and have again rebuilt for the customer."

Terrible-have almost always had to take the Clocks back twice-one still isn't working right. Paid him a lot of money to have a Clock worked on and to get it back still not running right.

When I picked it up and got it Home, it wouldn't keep running, it would run for 5 minutes and stop. It had made a loud noise, so we took it back to him. My Husband picked it up and it still isn't running right. We've moved it to 2 different walls thinking that might be the problem. I called and left a message that I would like part of the 285.00 I paid to take it to someone else and have it repaired. Never got a call back. I have taken 2 clocks to him and they both have had to go back at least twice, so I would not recommend him to fix Your Clocks.

"This is the person that ran out of gas in my driveway. Clocks are tested for 2-3 weeks and run correctly before delivery. Can't control how units are handled once leaving shop."

We were having some issues with the chimes on our grandfather clock. Sounded as if they were not seated properly. Called Don and he arrived on the planned date and time and proceeded to disassemble the clock. He did a thorough cleaning, lubricated and reassembled the mechanism. Clock runs and sounds great. He recommended another cleaning in three years and we will not hesitate to contact him at that time.

Doug repaired my Grandfather clock once before so there was no question who to call when it stopped running. He was prompt, professional and courteous. He found that the problem was that the rack locked when the weights ran down while I was away. After repairing the problem, he waited 15-20 minutes to make sure the clock kept running. In addition he provided information on how to prevent this problem in the future.
