SCOTT'S FURNITURE CO

Went into Scott's looking for a specific bedroom suite made by Ashley. I knew that Scott's sold this collection as it is listed on their site, but no prices are actually listed. Walked in and a typical furniture sales lady (aka used-car-salesman in another life) showed us the large touchscreen that allowed us to find and price the furniture. I was shocked to find that Scott's prices are MUCH more than Ashley's in-house prices. When Ashley is asking $1600 for an entire collection, Scott's price was $2500+ (and that includes the 'generous' 20% off they were offering at the time)! We said thanks and left, and will make sure others are aware of their cheaper options before going to Scott's. FYI, markup on furniture is INSANE. I'm price shopping this collection because the beloved furniture store we had in western NC will not deliver as far south as us. BTW, that store's price on the exact same collection is $1000, and always always always undercuts Ashley's in-house prices.
