He does excellent work and I can't tell where the hole had been after he was finished.  He left my house clean and was excellent to work with.  Friendly, personable and did the work quickly.  The price was fair and reasonalbe.  I would recommend him to anyone who needs drywall repairs done.  I found Roger through a friend when I was asking for recommendations with the first job.  He had done work for her and she was very pleased.

Roger works alone. To reach the ceiling, he uses stilts and called a friend for help. He wasn't equipped to cover the floors. He did bring in a roll of thin plastic, which he taped a foot from the walls. His stilts tore holes in the plastic and scratched the laminate flooring. After he left, I had to scrape drywall mud off of walls, windows and floors. He doesn't start before 9:30 in the morning and stops for a one hour lunch. This is in addition to two trips to the store for parts. The job took two full days with the first day extending to 8 PM. He does a very thorough and precise job and the results are very nice. But there was a lot of wasted time. I expect a professional to have adequate canvas drop cloths and work regular hours. He claims he has been doing this for 20 years, but it felt as though an acquaintance was feeling his way through the job.

I tried calling him back to get him to fix it. It was difficult to get in touch with him about the repair. Once I finally did, he never returned my calls and he never came back to fix the work. He was a nice guy and showed up on time but his prices were high and the quality of the work was poor.
