Richard R Watts

The finished product is fantastic. No matter how great a renovation project is, you will want it over long before it is finished. But Richard Watts, with his calm, even demeanor, made the process as smooth as I imagine it can be. He is very professional, setting proper expectations at our initial meeting and all along the way. His communication with us was frequent and always served to help us make informed decisions as he and his crew encountered the inevitable unexpected issues with a project this size. Richard was on site every day, meeting with me every morning to outline what they planned to accomplish that day and often meeting with me at some point during the day as well. The men that worked for Richard, most notably Mike who was on site almost every day from demolition through finishing the punch list, were also very professional. I really appreciated that they understood they were working where a family lived and that they went out of their way not to inconvenience us when possible. Richard proved very honest and trustworthy, and the attention to detail and the desire to make us happy was evident all along the way. This was a large project (at least for us) and we tried to be very selective in finding a contractor that would approach the project in a way that worked for us. We could not be happier with the outcome and can't wait for Spring to get here so we can enjoy the porch as much as we already enjoy the breakfast room.
