We were so thrilled with the job, that we hired him to fix our guest bathroom which a previous contractor had absolutely botched. It was a huge job to repair the mistakes, but in the end, we were once again totally pleased with the workmanship, the price and the detail that Mark Bracci brings to his work.
Mark also removed our carpeting in the master bedroom and living room, and the engineered hardwood in our kitchen and replaced it with hardwoods.
All the projects turned out exactly as I had envisioned them, and were done within the schedule that was originally predicted. (or a little sooner)
His price is fair, he is a total perfectionist and a great communicator. We are so happy with Mark's work that we intend to keep finding home reno projects for him to do!
Mark is the most professional service provider I have ever met.
From the initial meeting through several weeks of work, Mark arrived on time everyday, began work and communicated with me as needed. He is an absolute perfectionist, he isn't happy unless you are and the quality of his work is unlike any other.
Our project exceeded our expectations and the reason why is simple.....Mark Bracci. I am looking forward to more projects and I wouldn't even consider hiring anyone but Mark.
If you want the work done right, without any hassles and with the highest level of professionalism and quality, give Mark a call.
"This house was built in the 1930's , also in a flood zone. I can not be responsible for structural settling issues, this should have been addressed before any remodeling work. The work i provided was for cosmetic upgrades Not structural problems. Any failures at all were caused by settling issues. I take a lot of pride in my work and i have never had a failure in any of my renovations! I been in this line of work for over 30 years and i don't know of any contractors that would have gone above and beyond to complete this job!"
Mark started when he said he would start and arrived ready to work each day. He worked efficiently throughout the project and made sure the subcontractors also stayed on task. He was very honest about any problems that arose during the renovation and made sure we were happy with progress. In the end, the kitchen turned out better than we ever expected. Additionally, the project was completed within our budget.
I highly recommend Mark and have already done so to several friends. If we ever need work in the future, he will be the first person I call. He is everything you look for in a contractor-professional, prompt, honest, hardworking and skilled at what he does.
It's also good to have your paint colors picked out and if you are particular about a certain paint store, notify the painter as soon as possible. I ended picking my colors out the night before and it turned out well. But because I picked out my tile at the last minute, I was up at night holding paint cards next to tile pieces and it was frantic.
If the devil is in the details - the details can be the devil so just educate yourself on what is available and know what you want.
Beware of looking at $50,000 dollar bathroom suites on internet sites and clicking print thinking you found your bathroom. Well, unless you have $50,000 laying around. But it's best to sketch out how you want it look, confer with your contractor on what is feasible on your budget and then hitting the pavement or the internet to pull it all together.
I have been told that Mark often uses his design skills to remove this burden from other clients, but I'm aware that some clients want to control every detail of the outcome. There's nothing wrong with either approach, but it's advisable to know which approach will be used in the project.
