This is THE worst company to ever use! They lie, rip you off and never call or communicate! This has been an ongoing problem from the initial install when the compressor blew up. They had to come back the next day with a new compressor to finish installation!! We’ve had problems ever since and this has been going on for 11 years. (We have a 12 year parts and labor warranty with a $49 deductible and we’ve paid this deductible so many times). Our compressor has gone out again, this is the forth time in 11 years!!!!! Tech brought out a portable air conditioner on Wednesday only to have it leak water on our living floor, rug and pad! He came back to pick it up and said the water plug was missing! Gee whose fault is that???? Was told we’d get a different one next morning on Thursday! Heard nothing on Thursday and nothing so far today, Friday! I’m sure we won’t hear a word! We’ve had parts put in backwards, txv’s (thermal expansion valve) replaced so many times, I lost count! Never ever use this terrible, inexperienced, sad excuse for a company!!

Awful experience with all parts of the company. My elderly mom moved into a house and we had asked for specific repairs. The sent salesman’s with a “repairman”. They didn’t fix the issue we need resolved until a follow up date. They came to sell mold uv lights and not to address what we needed. When a repair team came out they said we didn’t even need that repair. We were so disappointed with the unprofessionalism of this company. Beware of them take advantage of the elderly.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I made an account to specifically share my story about this company. They do poor workmanship, will mislead you every step of the way as they try to assist you, and do not make good on their word when resolving disputes. My wife and I needed to get a new HVAC and air handler in early 2021. We used this company and signed up for their advantage program. The units were installed and we agreed to a monthly payment until the equipment and was paid in full. As part of the deal, we were supposed to get free service appointments, etc. Almost immediately after the install, we noted that our air wasn't working properly. The unit would blast loudly almost like a rocket taking off, it wouldn't keep our home cool through the summer, interior humidity was through the roof, and our electric bills skyrocketed. I called and made numerous complaints. Each time, a service technician would come out and review the equipment, tell me it was fine, and let me know that they "Needed to make some small adjustments and we'd be fine." After two years of complaining, they finally sent out the service manager for the entire location, Mr. DJ Flynn. Upon looking at my exterior HVAC unit for maybe 5 minutes, he recognized on sight that my unit was supposed to be equipped with "two stage cooling" but it wasn't enabled for some reason. This was causing the home to try and enable a second gear when it wasn't cooling fast enough, but since it was not properly enabled, the unit was pumping hot air into the home. This created a feedback loop where my air was constantly running without cooling the home, raising my bills and leaving us extremely uncomfortable. Mr. Flynn noted the following errors with my install: - The exterior compressor was incorrectly wired to disable two stage cooling - The air handler was incorrectly wired to disable two stage cooling - The zone board was not properly programmed for two stage cooling - The fan speed was turned to maximum high, causing the loud noises and further drain on electric bills - The wires leading to the thermostats which would control two stage cooling HAD BEEN CLIPPED AND TUCKED BACK INTO THE WALL BY THE ORIGINAL INSTALLERS Mr. Flynn essentially admitted that the original installers must have elected not to enable two stage cooling as it requires extra work, essentially admitting that I received a negligent install. He apologized for the inconvenience and was able to rewire and fix the unit in a matter of hours. My wife and I dealt with over 2 years of higher electric bills and discomfort simply because representatives from Midland Air Service Experts (both the original installers and every single workman sent after - no less than 4 people) were too stupid or lazy to diagnose the issue and wire the unit correctly. Due to the high electric bills, I lodged a complaint with the company. I had to deal with the senior leadership (managers) and legal/billing departments due to the severity of this issue. They agreed to transfer ownership of all equipment over to me, cancel my Advantage Program membership, and charge me no further money. I was also assured that any paperwork that might encumber the deed to my home (such as a UCC-2 filing) would be removed immediately. I received confirmation of all of this in writing via a letter from the company dated July 29, 2024. I tried to engage in a simple home refinance in August of '24. I discovered that Midlands Air Service Experts had taken no action to remove the UCC-2 filing on deed. I discovered on 10/2/24 that, in spite of the above, the company had processed ANOTHER two recurring credit card charges. I was billed on 8/25 and 9/25, both well after my account was supposed to be closed. I called to complain about the charges, and the representative who answered the phone looked me up and told me that MY ACCOUNT WAS STILL ACTIVE IN THEIR SYSTEMS. In conclusion, this company does poor work, will lie to your face, and does not follow through on their promises. Use literally anyone else for your needs.

These people are the worst. They are only nice when trying to make a sale. After you give them your money, they change up and are just the most horrible. Lies lies, and more lies. Then you get dismissed when upset over being swindled.

Have annual service contracts on two heat pump units that I purchased from Midland 10 years ago. While servicing the units the tech adviced me one unit was leaking refrigerant from the coils and the coils would need to be replaced ($2500) or a new air handler ($4500). I objected. Called another company who inspected the unit and advised the coils were not leaking. Midland had replaced the reverse control valve the year prior on this unit and that was the source of the refrigerant. Otherwise the unit was in good condition but the coils needed cleaning. I had paid Midland for ten years to annual inspect and service the units and I was shown this had not been done. In the end, the second company charged me less than $200 for a service and saved me at least $2500 while opening my eyes to how thoroughly I was being ripped off.

Tech showed up without his equipment to properly fix my problem. Tech requested could he return the next morning. 1230pm the next day no one had showed up and no call. I called the Midlands Air and was told the Tech had other calls. I think I should had been priority because of the previous days events. The office said he would arrive in 30 m. I called back at 230 because there was no tech plus no call. I called back at 430, same thing. I told them not to bother. Insult to injury, the office tried to collect for a service call, I refused.

When they first installed it after a couple of days we noticed that it wasn't working. We called them and they came right out. The soldering job that they did when they installed it didn't take and it had spilled the whole Freon so they had to redo it. They came right out. We did not have to wait. They sent out 2 workers. They did clean up the area when they were done. They did communicate with me about what was going on when my air conditioner did not work.

I've used them for years. I have always felt them to be a company that their technicians who come to do the twice a year maintenance must be paid on a commission because every time they always try to sell me something. I've gotten to the point that when they come I say I want you to service my unit and do not try to sell me something. It's become very obvious. He is still trying to sell me solar panels. I tell him I am 70 something and I will never get my money back on those panels. If there is something wrong with the unit fine but don't try to sell me something. I have a contract with them. I didn't have to buy anything extra. I ask for the same person all the time so I understand what he is going to do and I am able to cut thru the BS.  It's $144 a year and it's been that for a long time.  I think the price is fair. He is always late. They schedule the appointment from 8 and 10 and they have a meeting at 8 so he never gets here till 10. I'm scared to make the appointment at 11 cause he may not be here till 12.

I've had good results in keeping my heating and air condition systems up. They are a good company. They do it at a reasonable price. They are always here when they say they are going to be here. I have no complaints. The people are well dressed. They respect the house and all. They are a good company. They call in advance. You can't ask for more than that. They are always cleanly dressed and put on booties to walk in the house. I've had them for about 5 years.

I have a contract with them. They put a new furnace in 10 years ago. They come twice a year and check it to make sure everything is working okay. The cost is $140 once a year.  For quality, they know what they are doing. They recommended that I put a filter in because I have a lot of cat hair in my house. they recommended a particular filter and they directed me to the place where I can buy it on-line. It is $50 cheaper to buy it on-line. It was a lennox filter, they recommended that I put that in there because of the cats. They said when they go in to clean the furnace, it is all full of cat hair.
