Lexington Pet Lodge

We cannot say enough great things about this place, as I would not just leave my four legged babies anywhere. The facility is clean, secure with cameras, etc. , professionally staffed, great and secure fenced in areas. On top of making sure veterinarian records were updated. Medicine given daily. Megan is awesome and really cares and remembers all our babies. We have used them for years and will in the next month. Grooming is great too.

They are an excellent facility. I recommend highly.

They were very good, took care of the animals well and did what they were supposed to do.

I have been boarding my pets ( 2 dogs and a cat ) for the last 9 years, and have never been disappointed. Our dogs, were always happy when I dropped them off, which has been many times over the past few years. Our pets, as well as my boyfriend and I were treated like friends every time we came to the kennel. The kennel is always clean, and there is an exercise area outside. We felt reassured that our dogs ( and cat) were always well cared for. They always came home happy and healthy. Many times over the years, I have made reservations during busy times at the last minute and the staff will put dogs on a waiting list and they always seem to find space for them. Also the groomers do a wonderful job. It is always a treat to have them bathed before coming home.

The people were generally nice, not the most friendly on earth, but most were nice. You couldn't really beat the price. The space where our dog is kept just looked small and dingy. Our pet seemed happy after her stay. However, she wasn't given her bones or the special treats we left for her. We didn't even think they gave her our food that we provided, just some of theirs. They ask for special instructions like that, but don't really follow them. So, all in all, not a bad stay, just not top notch like we all prefer for our pet.

We had emergency in home with burst pipes in January 2014. Our insurance company moved us to a hotel for 5 weeks , we had to board our 2 dogs for this entire time. Lexington Pet Lodge was very caring with the care of our dogs. We were able to visit daily and get updates to reassure us. They never pressured us during this most difficult time, telling us they would kennel the dogs as long as we needed to and we wouldn't worry about payment until we checked out. They were very understanding and my dogs were well cared for. We also used the grooming service when we checked out and were very pleased with them as well.

Lexington Pet Lodge Loved it We have been using Lexington Pet lodge boarding and grooming for our dog for 7 years. We could not find a more caring staff to take care of our best friend. They treat him as if he were their own. They are always courteous to us and very understanding to his and our needs. We love the fact that when we call to check on him they take the time to walk back and check him at that time. They have cameras upfront to watch over all the kennels. We have recommended them to friends and neighbors that started using them are are as happy as we are. The reception area is spotless and welcoming, as well as the kennels. They understand the needs of all pets that are boarded there and treat them individually. We recommend them highly, and believe me we are very particular about who takes care of our boy. My small dog stayed one night in his own (pretty small) kennel. I brought his food and blanket, but no real and quot;bedand quot; so he was probably a little cold on the concrete floor. Lesson learned for next time. I was able to retrieve him earlier than I planned and they didn't seem to have a problem with it. I will take him back, but will bring more of a bed and maybe toys next time

Easy drop off and pick up. They let you walk with your dog to the kennel to get them set up and say goodbye.

I like the cleanliness and the staff. The facility and kennel itself is excellent. The price is very reasonable for considering how big it is. In the summer, it's cool. In the winter, it's warm. It doesn't smell like urine like other places. When it's nice outside they have a little walkway for them to go outside to get fresh air.
