The installation of our water heater was fast and the clean was great. Colten was the worker that services us. We’ve had work done by Kay Plumbing before and they did a good job then also. We will continue to use them in the future.

They cut a hole in the ceiling downstairs, looked at the pipes, sealed the drain in the upstairs shower and charged $449.50 on April 15th. Now on April 23rd it is still leaking through the ceiling and they want another $299 to come back out today and try to repair what they should’ve repaired in the first place!! Don’t recommend them at all!!

I pay into a monthly benefit program at the highest level and was charged the discounted price of $156 ($333.50 total) just for 2 minutes of service to light a pilot light. Called immediately to speak to a manager or owner, did not receive a call back. Called several more times, did not receive an answer....finally got the manager after 7 weeks and she told me she is so proficient at her job, she would not leave the owner a message to further help me and will not let me out of my protection plan this month, though no phone calls were returned to me to end this in September as I tried and they will continue to charge me. What a terrible experience. Glad that she thinks so highly of herself that she could careless about trying to satisfy a customer.

Needed emergency plumbing service after hours and had no idea who to call. I had water backing up into all toilets and tubs and water all over the floor in the master bath. And of course, unable to use any of the toilets! After quickly looking at reviews, I tried Kay. Spoke to Christina who was helpful and clear about fees etc. Briton arrived within 30 mins and in another 30 mins had the problem fixed. He was friendly, courteous and professional. Diagnosis plus repair $400 and I was happy to pay it. I will use them again for routine and any other plumbing needs.

Expensive! One solution to a leaking faucet left us with the water to the faucet turned off as a fix!? They did suggest putting in new faucets but at cost of $ 195.- PER faucet for labor only, so for ONE sink almost $400! price was with a Home Protection Agreement discount! We ended up doing that ourselves. Another drain leak they were to have fixed still leaks to this day. Adding some caulk around a sink - $122.-, new p-trap 122.- and I can go on, all prices so high plus a trip-charge of 49.50.

He had to not only replace the unit, but add an expansion pack and drill through the brick to complete the pressure release pipe thing. That had never been done previously. Our water heater is in a difficult cramped area, but Matt was able to work it out.

Ordered the wrong part, then charged me for the labor he did on the wrong part, plus the labor for the correct part. I had even bought a $100 Groupon that I never used due to the fact I don't trust this place.

"The work was done right and the customer raised no concerns about it whatsoever. Work was completed in 2011. The company always follows the policy of 100% guarantee on any work done. The amount was also authorized and the customer informed of the price before work was started. However the customer would not pay for the invoice despite many reminders and efforts to work with him on the price, offering payment installments etc. The company had no choice but take the customer to court for unresolved bill and the court agreed that the customer was in the wrong. He received a fine and was ordered to pay the outstanding amount however he still never paid it."

We called for this company after hours at the last minute to go out to Blythewood and the worker (Matt) was in Lexington SC.Not too much longer he arrived in Blythewood  and fixed the overflowing sewer going in the garage from the septic tank and did some plumbing cleaning. They are always responsive and Konrad will send you very important plumbing information Monthly that is very helpful and that has to be time consuming,but it shows the concern for the public knowledge and preventive maintenance.You all worked it out and thanks a lot. This really meant a lot to us.
 Also even though I am no relations to this vendor I would like to say to Angies list and that is seemingly if you have a good experience with a company whether you are related,work for them or competition,why wouldn't that person have a fair chance to rate fairly just as anyone else unrelated? But Yes I attest I do not work with them,relations, I even can say that I never met them,just call and get WONDERFUL SERVICE.

He did an excellent job. He was very professional. He made extra double or triple sure that the insurance was going to cover it. I don't know why but he just kept checking. He explained everything, he showed me everything, he was just really good and he fixed the problem.

The pluming under the sink were corrosive, wearing out and started to cause leaks. Kay Pluming came out on time, looked at the problem and replaced the fittings underneath and even checked and replace the seal to the garbage disposal, Brian the service tech was polite, he cleaned around the around the area of cabinets (replacing the pipes) and was very professional,
When I called the staff was very customer service friendly for a 1st time caller/customer

"The work that we completed was done in the fall of 2012. Our initial trip and invoice was dated on September 6th 2012. On that date we replaced the well pump, a new control pressure tank assembly for the pump, and ran new pipe and wiring for the entire system. In addition we also installed a whole house water filter and disinfected the well system due to high levels of bacteria. The total price of the work was $3,857."

They do a great job, and they have been very responsive. They have always taken care of any issues that we have had, and seem to treat everybody fairly and their prices are not outrageous. They worked with my schedule, and came out right when they said they would be there, and fixed it within probably 20 minutes. I have a contract with them where I pay a certain amount per month for their premium service. I have used them for years, and I have never had issues.
