Very happy does not even begin to describe how we felt about the job Tim and his crew did. He was always here on time and would keep us posted each week on what days he would be here. Tim was also very good about returning phone calls. We had several companies give us a price for the same services and his prices were the most fair. We had 25 windows replaced and the wood around each window frame wrapped. He did an excellent job and the windows are so very efficient. We can already see a difference in our electric bill. He also installed two exterior door units. We are very pleased with the job he did on installing them. We changed out our wooden porch rails for rails we did not ever have to paint. They are beautiful and again he and his crew did a great job. We have a wrap around porch that is high off the ground. We also have a split steps going up to the porch. The wood had rotted on some of the steps and he replaced and painted the steps also. We are so very happy with the job he did on these. He also replaced the siding inside our screened porch. It looks so much better with the new siding. Tim is a very honest person and did extra things for us that he just noticed needed to be done. He was always responsive and the quality of his work is exceptional. We will definitely use him again for any work we need done.

Great! Mr. Goins did a fantastic job replacing all 6 doors. He is very knowlegable and professional. Saw the word done through the end to make sure we were satisfied. He is an A type personally that wants to make sure he does a great job, and he does.

Working with Mr. Goins was a wonderful experience. He returned my initial call the same day and came out the next day to give us an estimate. Unbelievable!!! After getting several estimates from big name companies, I decided to look for a private contractor on Angie's List. I found Goins Construction LLC and decided to give them a call. I spoke with mr. Tim Goings and set up a time for an estimate. Mister Goins showed up on time and gave an excellent estimate on replacing 11 windows. The replacement windows were for my mother's home in the Cayce West Columbia area. We hired Goins Construction and we're very pleased with the outcome. Mister Goins showed up on time, did all the work as promised, was very courteous, polite and professional. If you are reading this review and are thinking about getting replacement windows I would highly recommend allowing mr. Goins to give you an estimate. I would further recommend hiring this company for working on your home. I would certainly higher Goins Construction again for any future services this company provides. Excellent professionalism, excellent service, and a unbeatable price. 100 Stars!?

Tim was wonderful to work with! Inspected the project and presented an estimate in the time frame promised. Scheduled the work and completed as promised. Worked with the tenants who reside at the home to schedule and ensure they were satisfied. Completed on time and with in estimate. I will use Goins Construction again. Very satisfied and highly recommend.

The windows were done really nicely. One of our appliances was broken during the installation, and they did their best to replace it and to make up for the inconvenience by giving us some other services.

This job, from my perspective, went smooth as silk!  The came each day and worked professionally and efficiently. They did work above and beyond what  the quote entailed, and above my expectations.  The work they did resulted in such a neat appearance and made such an immense improvement in our home, and then when they left the job upon completion, you would not have known they had been there, due to their job site clean-up. It's obvious that they take pride in their work.
In the past, we've had contractors ask for some money up-front. And, in the past, we had to do our own clean-up.  Not the case here.  Pleasantly surprised. No disappointment.
Needless to say, I highly recommend Goins Construction.  They have also done work at the homes of two of our sons (windows replaced there).  Same experience at those homes.  Hire them with confidence that you will not be disappointed in the finished work.  I wish all contractors worked in this manner.

Mr. Goins was very pleasant and easy to work with. He answered all questions that we had and kept us updated throughout the process. It was quality work and done to our satisfaction. We asked him to do some additional tasks while he was here and he graciously completed those also.

Great!!! Tim and his guys replaced all the windows in our house with some fabulous new vinyl Windows. They worked fast and very well together. There were a lot of Windows to replace an they did a great job, cleaned up everything . We are very pleased with Tim and his crew. I would highly recommend them.

Mr. Goins was great, he always explained what he and his team would be doing, their schedule and a reason for any delays.

While it did take him a bit longer to start than I expected, the work was performed quickly.  The end product looked great.

Very well. He is a low pressure and caring worker who does what he says. He is in high demand so you will likely have to be put on his schedule but he will start when he says absent crazy circumstances. We had a quote from Home Depot and it was 2.5 times higher for basically the same window.

I'm not one to write reviews and I've never written one for Angie's List, however, the job that Goins Construction did when compared to the cost and quality of work demanded I let others know of this contractor if Aluminum/Vinyl trim work is needed on any new or existing construction.
Tim Goins of Goins Construction was the first of four(4) contractors that I had come out to give me an estimate of the work I needed. During the review of the work needed, Tim was very professional and knowledgeable. I have worked in construction, and I can honestly say that Tim is the most knowledgeable contractor I've worked with in his area of expertise. Based on that initial visit, I told my wife that I was strongly considering just letting the other contractors know that I had already made my choice, however, I elected to wait and see if another contractor would be able to top the first impression I had of Goins Construction. 
My residence is an older ranch style house that required much attention to detail to complete professionally. Goins Construction delivered on all fronts quickly figuring out innovative ways to install the trim. He even removed, cleaned, and replaced my existing gutters so I would not have to replace with new although I was prepared to replace with new if needed. Clean up was thorough and the job was finished within the expected/estimated time frame. I usually like to be there to watch the contractor, but in this case, it was not needed. From the level of the quality of the work Goins Construction delivered with Tim's oversight, there was really no need. He REALLY cares about his name and his company's name and reputation and in my opinion, does not even need to advertise to get work.
The QUALITY of the aluminum and vinyl was VERY good, the WORKMANSHIP was TOP NOTCH, and the PRICE was A THIRD OR MORE LESS than the other three (3) quotes. I referred Tim to my Brother-in-Law who has also decided to use his services based on what he saw of my project.
THIS IS THE FIRST TANGIBLE PAYBACK I'VE GOTTEN FROM ANGIE'S LIST, BUT NOW FEEL I'VE GOTTEN MY MONEY'S WORTH WITH NO QUESTION.

Mr. Goings was recommended by a friend of mine. He came out to give me an estimate for new windows (replaced the windows on the side and back of my house ? rotten wood) he had a great idea to change one of my windows into a picture window. He showed samples and went over my options ? the windows were installed by Mr. Goings and his helper ? they did a great job. I am very pleased and will call him again when I need my other windows installed.

Tim and his crew are top notch people. When a tree struck the power line on the back of my house, it pulled the electrical meter off and damaged several rows of siding. Since the siding couldn't be matched exactly, and hadn't been installed very well to begin with, Tim recomended re-siding the entire section. He also suggested using the oppurtunity to insall a gable vent to allow better ventilation in the attic. The price was very fair, and he completed the job in one day. I would use him again anytime!

We are so happy with everything. Mr. Goins and his crew did a great job, He is so nice to work with and always available to offer suggestions and answer any  questions or concerns that we had,  We love our house now!!   Excellent work and great people. Iam so happy that i chose him to do my house, and will use him again and recommend his contruction company .
Detail of work done: We had 18 windows replaced. Then he fixed and coverd the overhang and trim, using the vented overhang. then he covered the old  masonite siding with styrofoam underlayment, then installed the new vinyl siding and trim. We are also having shutters installed.

Mr. Goins came out at our request twice prior to us signing a contract.  He quoted us on Revere windows, which I hadn't heard of or researched.  His demonstration was very impressive, specially his sample.  The top sash of the sample was plain dual glass and the bottom was dual pane as well, but treated as "Low E Glass".  He used a heat lamp to demonstrate the difference in heat transferrance between the Low E and the plain.  The difference was remarkeable!!!  The Low E was much, much cooler to the touch than the top non-Low E glass.  Anyone considering dual pane windows should not consider purchasing them without this option. 
Mr. Goins showed up on time for the install date and did an excellent job!    If you want quality windows and an excellent install, you should contact Mr. Goins.  The price was reasonable as well, about $300.00 per window.  The experience was one of the best I've had with companies in the home remodeling industry.
