They do great work. Great care for the dogs, for what they do. Kind of like going to a general physician/family practice or going to a surgeon, that's kind of the difference. They do services for our dog, for wellness care, heart worm treatment/preventative care, thinning else they need, vaccines. They are A across the board. Three best qualities are location, friendliness of the staff and the doctors. If it is a sickness of some sort, such as loose stools or some other problem that the dog may have, they take them the same day.

A little more expensive than other clinics -- but you get what you pay for. When my cat had to have a dental cleaning there, the staff texted me regular updates that were very comforting (as I was worried about her -- she's an older cat). All went very well. The appointments are usually on time and efficient. The facilities are clean and well maintained.

They were very friendly and they took care of the dog. They were very upfront with us about all the cost. There were no problems.

They?ve been wonderful with our dog. They call us for medication of the dog when we were on vacation. They call on prescription for the dog.

I went to them because they have a lot more equipment and there's so much more that they can do. But they are so expensive. Their staff, depending on who's answering the telephone, can be either outstanding or uninformative. But if you take a sick animal in, they will get to the bottom of it. They're got so much better equipment and it's easy on the animals. They have a beautiful hospital that's very nicely done. The quality is top notch. They've got very long hours. They're good. They're very professional.

Lab test done to confirm cause of ear problem. Medication was prescribed. Had dog's nails clipped while we were there.

Answered all the questions we had about our 6 week old lab, some of our concerns led to a more thorough exam and we discovered she had a yeast-type infection. A less attentive vet may not have caught that. Dr. prescribed antibiotics and we set up appt for next followup.

They have about five veterinarians that work there and they are all very good. I like them very much. Our pets are like our kids and only the best will do. I would absolutely recommend them.

I have taken all 5 of dogs. They provide excellent care, they are extraordinarily compassionate. 3 of my dogs have dies over the years, and they are extremely compassionate and have sent me condolence card. They are extremely interested in the animal's wellbeing on a personal level. They have taken care of couple surgeries for me and they have fair prices. They are very flexible with appointments. If I could give them an A+ if I could.

We love Cherokee Trail. Our doctor has been seeing our animals for at least 8-10 years. She is professional and you can tell that she really loves her job, and for our pets that's very important. We have Labrador dogs and she gets down on the floor with them; talks to them and is very gentle, patient and thorough. Her follow up on lab work is precise; she calls you the next day herself to tell you the results. The front desk staff is friendly when you call or come in and you can tell the vet techs really love their job. I will use them again in the future.

We are new to the state of South Carolina and were out of heartworm medicine for our two dogs. I called the clinic and asked how I could get a prescription for the medicine. They told me both dogs would need to be seen and an exam performed. I asked the price and they said $52.00 per dog, we have a jack russell and a shih tzu. The price seemed a little high but I thought we would give them a try because they were close to where we live and I wasn't sure if the price was the norm for South Carolina. On the day of the appointment I took a copy of the dogs records from the clinic we used previously. The wait wasn't too bad. The veterinarian examined both dogs and answered my questions. I asked her to give them both their Distemper/Parvo/Booster and Kennel Cough as they were due for these next month. She was nice and explained the procedure for South Carolina on heartworm medicine. They wanted to do blood work on the dogs before they give them the medicine ( I think it would have been an additional $38.00 per dog). I declined and signed a waiver because they have been on the medicine for awhile and previously had blood work done with our old veterinarian. I asked about the price of cleaning the jack russell's teeth and she quoted me $300. This is quite a bit higher than what we paid previously, it was about double the price. The cost of the heartworm medicine was high, $69.00 for 12 doses. I will probably ask for a prescription and order online next time. They were nice and knowledgeable but I thought their prices were a bit high.

They have a convenient location. The doctors were professional and thorough. I would recommend this vet.

Dr. Ginger MaCauley(owner of practice and senior vet) is great with patients and their owners. Very good diagnostician. Personally called to give us tests results. Has been our vet for 15 years. No bad experiences. Her staff is very friendly and professional. Also when the vets and staff see you on the street they know your name as well as yours pet's. That's neat!

The service is excellent. She explains things thoroughly. She is very patient. Her office is nice, clean and pleasant to be in. Her office staff is polite and professional.
